Great quality softbox
If you're looking for a softbox this size, then you could do a lot worse than going with this one. I really like K&F Concept's products, and this one is no different. It's one of the easier-to-use softboxes that I've ever had - it pops up and down really quickly, and it folds into a nice little carry case. It's super lightweight; if you pair it with a small light, you could even use this as a run-and-gun set-up for your flash/video lighting needs.
As with all K&F stuff, it's really good quality and really good value!

Good Softbox
Exceptionally sturdy and well-made. The octagon shape provides beautifully even lighting, and the included honeycomb grid helps me control spill for more professional results. Setup is straightforward, and the carry bag makes transport simple.

Sets up SUPER FAST (2 seconds)
Set up is SUPER Fast… like it literally takes 2 seconds, which is AWESOME. Tear down is just as quick. Other than that, it’s exactly as advertised. Nice and compact- comes with grid. It’s a little smaller than what I personally like for interviews, but it definitely has its place- especially in tight areas.

Exactly what you’d expect
I love that the quick unfold / setup are the norm these days, I remember having to use softboxes that required installation using those rods…these are SO much better.
In terms of quality, you can’t really go wrong with these unless you expect heavy use, for example if you own a very popular studio, I’d probably opt for more industrial grade equipment but for anything else, these are perfectly fine.
A small thing I appreciate is the name on the carrying bag to easily differentiate between what you’re grabbing. I say this as some other brands either don’t have any labelling or they have some labelling but it’s not a clear description of what is in the bag.
This one is easy for me to remember: OS65 - octagon softbox 65cm. Must admit, no idea where the 2 comes from but it doesn’t bother me.
Had no issues with reflectivity either but then again, these days I don’t think you can get softboxes that have problems of reflectivity.
Also when folded and packed, it’s indeed very portable and doesn’t occupy a lot of space.

Great easy to use Reflector Kit for Bowen Mounts
I do some regular shooting for interviews on locations, and I’m starting to bring a light kit with me for when I know I have a fixed spot to do them, instead of chasing people at an event. I have a nice LED Light Head, but needed a soft box to control lighting.
I did some searching and found the K&F Concept Octagonal Softbox and ordered it.
I really like how easy this is to setup; the reflector hood is easy to snap open, and the Bowen Mount Ring gives a nice secure way to connect the Softbox to the light head.
You get three accessory panels: two diffusers and a honeycomb grid for light control. I like that you can use these together if needed, and makes for a nice flexible kit for model photography, product shots and the interviews I do.
I practiced setup a couple times, and when I brought it on location, I was able to set my light head on a C-stand, unfold the reflector hood, attach the Bowen mount and hang the reflect in under 5 minutes, which I think impressed the site coordinator I was working with. In any case, it is easy to work with whatever your needs are.
The reflective material inside the hood did not cast any hot spots and worked great. I might pick up another one in fact! This is a nice lightweight and easily portable kit. Check it out!
