This K&F Concept v-mount battery is a great value but that does come with a small trade-off. It doesn't have an LCD screen with charge level or battery health, it just has an LED indicator on the side that shows an approximate battery life left.

The v-mount battery is is mostly plastic, but it still feels like it has a good build quality. It's got a nice design and comes in some color options so your camera rig doesn't have to just be all blackout all the time. Some might not like that, but I opted for the burgundy color and think it looks nice.

The battery has d-tap connectors on BOTH sides, most of my v-mount batteries from neewer and smallrig only have d-tap on one side and have the usb on the other. I love that this has d-tap on both sides and usb on top, as I'd much prefer to use dtap whenever possible it just feels like a much more solid and secure connection that won't get damaged as easily.

The capacity is great at 99Wh / 6700 mAh. That's the biggest battery you can carry on an airplane so it's good to travel with, too. It also supports PD 100W usb-c fast-charging so if you're traveling with it you can use this as a power brick to charge your laptop, phone, tablet or all three and leave your other power bank at home.

It has an "emergency light" on the back that I thought was really gimmicky, it's not very bright and didn't make sense to me why it was on the back of the light until I re-read the product description and it's advertised as a light to help mount the battery in dark environments. That makes sense, but it is still not bright enough for much of anything. I would have preferred they leave this out even if it only saved a couple of dollars on the retail price, as I will never use it.

Overall, this is a great v-mount battery that has ample capacity for hours of shooting and can power all your gear with two d-tap connectors, USB-A, USB-C and 12V power options in addition to the v-mount connector. Similar batteries from bigger brands are twice the price... or more... so this is an amazing value at it's current retail of $82.99 and a steal when it's on sale or has a coupon.

It amazes me how K & F have managed to pack so much power into this tiny, resilient box. There are two D-Tap connectors, a 100W dual-way USB, and a 12V output connector, as well as a full expansion tray connector. Amazing in my opinion. While this battery does not have a formal LCD display, it does have a low battery indicator. I like that it has a low power emergency LED light, as that can be useful on occasion.

I now have to question if this small form factor 99 watt battery is my new go-to favourite! It's so small I can carry this around easily and almost lose it in my pocket.

These new V style batteries, specifically offered by brand K&F CONCEPT who I trust for a lot of products, and has now stepped into the V mount market, providing creatives with a what is certainly a unique looking battery among the options, but that still lasts a very long time to keep our cameras and lights going for hours while we focus on being creative. I much prefer these to the older standard NP-F options.

I am not sure if K&F offers any other versions of this battery, because this one has a unique colour choice, and I wonder if there are other colours, but didn't see any. Whatever the case, this was perfect to suit my needs.

Although V batteries are certainly bulky, there is really no better battery for the purpose of directly connecting to your rig via the V mount, and with the added benefit of a D-Tap connection for certain scenarios, as well as your standard, now-modern USB-C connections for fast-charging devices, from your camera rig to mobile phones to drones to whatever else you need a solid recharge for.

Probably it's most unique feature over other V batteries is that it has a built-in small LED flash light, which can help you check your gear in dark lighting video scenes, etc. The unit also comes with a really well-made, braided fabric USB-C to USB-C cord.

Overall, I am super happy with adding this battery to my documentary video rig in particular, and I will use it for certain lighting situations as well. 5 star product.

This V Mount battery offers plenty of runtime for my 120 Watt light. This battery seems well made and lighter than I expected, which is a good thing IMO. It has plenty of power outputs for powering other things. I highly recommend this battery.

Good for my set up, stays for hours , i can even charge my phone

This is heavy duty and works well. Has all the port a V-Mount battery needs. Sturdy and a good size. Not too heavy. Not too large or small. Life is good. Good value. Good battery life.

This battery was about $90 from K&F concepts, for a 99wH battery I think it works really well. I think this battery is a little cheaper than other brand names that have lower mAh. If I had more lighting gear or camera monitor gear that worked with the D-Tap ports for power, it would be even more useful. So comparing this to battery banks I have some issues, but I need to put out why I wanted this battery. The only reason I got this was to power my action camera while doing night sky time lapse videos. I figured I big 99wH battery that has 6700mAhs should work great. So far I'm not disappointed at all. One the list of short comings I just wish designers would make a battery that is weather resistant meaning a little better then just having rubber dust covers that won't stop rain water from getting inside and damaging stuff. So far I tried two tests just to check how fast this fast charger works and the 100W USB-C is nice. The USB-A 24W took about two hours to go from 60% to 100% - The USB-C about 15 mins for 90% to 100%. Seems I would have been fully charged in half the time going from 60% to 100% on USB-C if I ran my test again. I did notice that one of my USB-C rechargeable devices (baofeng UV-9R pro wouldn't charge at all on the 24W USB-A connection.) The radio works fine on laptop USB-A connection to USB-C *battery port*. So far I have two uses for this battery fast charger, one is keeping action cameras powered up, the second is keeping my drone and RC2 controller charged up. This will do all of the above. I'd rate it one star higher if it was waterproof, for outdoors use with the action cameras. I'm rating this battery a four out of five stars because it's fast charge is really useful on quickly charging phones or whatever USB-C (almost all) devices. Thank you! -Mike

One of the smaller v99 vmounts I've tested, and it's actually quite nice and convenient. Charges fine via USB-C and did get the 100w, though for some reason the power level LED on the side is never fully happy and keeps blinking even when it's fully charge. Really the only annoying thing about the vmount was the USB-C port is oriented sideways by 90 degrees compared to my other ones.

It's a good vmount, and for the price is a great addition to a lot of video kits. I love the small size. Need to test it longer to make sure the capacity doesn't degrade over time.

It's definitely a nice battery. It's not too heavy. It feels like it's built. Well, it does not feel premium at all, but
It's a nice comfortable size to put on a belt loop or on your gimbal. I definitely recommend. I do, however, wish it had two USBC ports

I use a bunch of V mount batteries in my studio and this one is one of my favorite ones to use. I’ve mostly been using SmallRig VB99 Pros and SEs, which are very similar to this battery in capacity, but this one from K&F is slightly shorter and overall smaller than the ones from SmallRig.

It charges fast via USB C and also has a USB port, a 12v barrel plug, and 2 d taps. It works just as well as my other V mounts. What I really like is the built in flashlight on this battery. It’s not super strong, but great for quickly finding stuff in my camera bag.

There’s no displays or anything to show your output voltage which would have been useful. The only indicator on here is a light bar to show the battery life. Overall though, it’s still a great v mount battery that comes in at a cheaper price point than the SmallRigs and work just as well.
