The camera has so many options it took a little study to make sure I understood everything but I'm very happy I spent the time doing so and now that I have placed it remotely and it is watching over my family's cabin I am extreme satisfied with the purchase. It is a summer home and can only be occupied once the roads open for the summer and the snow melts. I can now see daily progress on these issues and I have set it up to send me regular photos regardless of movement and it also sends photos on movement.

I am looking forward to going there and tweaking the settings now that I've found out how flexible it is and I can make it even more capable of meeting my needs.

I initially set up the camera in my house and am making sure I understand it and its capabilities before I take it deep into the woods to monitor a remote location of significance to my family. I am able to set a time window when it will take pictures and limit the number of pictures per day that it takes and configure the sensitivity of the motion sensor. These are all must-have capabilities.

So far this is precisely what I wanted and I will update the review to let folks know what my experience has been watching remotely. The first order of business is to take it into the woods and put it into a place where I can see daily whether or not the road is passable and the building is no longer surrounded by snow.
