A subtle effect
In every respect, this K&F Black Diffusion 1/4 filter is a wonderful filter. Well made, well finished, clear and perfect glass, thin and light etc etc. You get a very good filter for your money.
The question is really how good is the diffusion effect, especially in the center of the image where a face is likely to be placed. My testing on some freshly budded red buds found the edge to edge diffusion quality to be subtle and excellent. The included photo is 100% cropped to capture the quality in the center of the frame. I hope the reproduction on Amazon is good enough to convince you of the quality as well.
