I ordered this camera for family water fun. We have a pool and frequently go to Swim in a local lake. The idea of underwater photography gets the kids into the water fast!
The camera has a case that's fully enclosed outside of a single door on the bottom which houses the charging port (usb-c) and the memory card slot (64gb included!!). It snaps and locks closed, sealing a rubber seal.
It has all the photo features you'd expect from a straight forward camera, including video capabilities.
The battery seems to last longer than the kids in the pool, so no worries in that regard.
Photo quality I would classify as good. It's not a professional level camera, but I was generally happy.
The interface is really very intuitive, my 10 year old had it figured out for basic functionality in minutes.
It has an SOS button that we found by accident when the flash started blinking brightly. I suppose that's a nice feature if you're a diver.
As a side note, this is a company that really stands behind their products. I had an issue with the first model they shipped me. I reached out through messaging and they were VERY responsive. After a few messages trying to troubleshoot and fix the issue, they sent a replacement quickly. That's the kind of service I'd expect from a top notch company.
This is a perfect budget camera for someone looking to enter into the world of underwater photography. I would recommend this to anyone.
