Pretty good but there is an elephant in the room
I really like this strap for the most part. It is very comfortable because it is wide and doesn't cut into your neck with a heavy lens on the camera. The webbing it is made from feels like high quality and the stitching looks to be very strong and well constructed. I have one gripe that could be a deal breaker for some, myself included. The hardware used to adjust the length of the strap is METAL. I don't want metal anywhere near my camera straps. I see it as just a matter of time before something gets scratched. I don't baby my gear but I do choose to prevent damage by being smart about what I expose it to. Perhaps a different material from metal would solve the problem or a coating of some sort to prevent scratching. I mentioned an elephant in the room and the elephant is Peak Designs straps and the knockoffs of their product. The issue I have is that this strap uses the same plastic clips you find everywhere like backpacks for example. Granted these have a safety mechanism so they won't open accidentally but my issue is that I've lost count ouf how many of these clips I have broken over the years on other products. The question becomes do I trust $10k on plastic clips that are known to break. Now It is possible that I am completely wrong here and the clips may be made of a tougher material than the ones in my past but they sure feel the same. At the end of the day I trust the attachment system of the competition more than this one. For me it is just not worth the risk. If you trust these clips then you will be very happy with the attachment system but it's just not for me. So in the end I have 2 issues metal adjusters and attachment system. This may be the right product for you and your needs if you don't mind the issues I have. Conditionally recommended
