They look and feel the same as Sony batteries - and behave like them too. But these are half the price, double the battery count in a pack, plus a dual charging dock.

I wish I could test the claim of 2600mAh as the first-party Sony batteries are 2280mAh - that’s an increase of 320mAh capacity. K&F are a pretty trustworthy company, so I will put this down to battery technology becoming more optimised as it matures.

The charging base is pretty generic and looks exactly the same as the other plastic battery charging trays I have, with a USB-C and USB Mini input, so if there’s a chance you forgot one cable type you’ll hopefully have the other. As with many other charging devices, you will require your own power adapter to connect it to an outlet, but the odds are you’re drowning in cables already from your other devices. Just make sure the push-through is high enough to benefit from the quicker charging times.

You also have small snap-on plastic trays with the batteries to stop the contacts short-circuiting by touching other metallic objects - a first, given all the batteries I’ve bought, but they are a bit loose and rattly, for all their handiness.

There’s nothing in the instructions mentioning that charging two batteries simultaneously will split the charge current and take a little longer overall. This happens with other generic chargers, and will happen with this one also.
