An amazing tripod, very stable, with equally fantastic features, my only problem is the lack of instructions on how to use it, for example: how to change it to me a monopod

But once you have figured it out, wow its just a fantastic piece of equipment and I think well worth the price

Got this for 59 and its very good, same as the more expensive model which costs 86 and the one at 102.It keeps my Nikon P 1000 very steady. I was worried when you zoom all the way in,worried that the tripod will become unstable but thats not the case. Now i can see birdies and deer with 3000 mm zoom:) It holds my camera very well (a heavy camera by the way - 1,4 kg). Ball head is very good, legs are nice and stable, love the color -orange and black, you can use it inverted for macro shots, you can add extra weight for more stability. I had a Hama Star 63 tripod before, this cannot be compared with that one because its just superior in every way. I would say its better than Bonfoto B690A as well. Its a beautiful, easy to use, sturdy tripod , and i also love the twist locks that you cand find on all the expensive models.

This a a very sturdy and solid piece of photography equipment that I recommend to both professional and amateur photographers and to also include the monopod is a great addition would highly recommend.

I document events on Britain's Railway and upload them to my YouTube channel, and as most stations frown upon the use of tripods on the platforms I was looking for a monopod to help brace the camera. Having looked at several monopods I stumbled across this. Wow, tripod and monopod in one unit, and less than £60.

I have other products by K&N and this product comes up to their high standards. The tripod comes in a sturdy box. Inside the box is a nice carry bag with both a velcro handle and clip on shoulder strap. The zips on the bag are sturdy and unzipping the bag reveals the tripod, tubes, instructions and allen key. The tripod head is contained in a soft black drawstring bag. One thing that I like about K&N products is the way they package their products.

The monopod forms one of the legs and is unscrewed from the hinge section. You can add one of the two extensions tube to give you extra height. The clamps are twist lock type and whilst not as quick to set up as my other tripod that has tabs to lock the legs it doesn't take too long to extend the sections and lock them into place. I found the monopod more than capable of supporting my camcorder rig, and the pan on the head was adjustable by tightening or slackening off the thumbscrew.

The tripod has the advantages of being light weight, small and compact, but also very versatile. The legs can spread out far beyond my main heavy tripod to give low level and steady photography. One thing you have to be aware of is that there is some flexing, and the tripod is light weight, but they include a nice spring loaded hook that can be used to hang a weight or bag from to reduce the risk of the tripod from tipping. There is some flex in the legs, but this is really a travel tripod. Having the ability to use the tripod on those occasions where there is no objections, but also to convert it to a monopod when required without having to carry additional equipment is a bonus.

The fact you are getting two products in one makes me recommend this product. You won't be disappointed - I wasn't !

Easy to assemble and can be used in various positions to accommodate different heights etc.

It was probably my fault for not choosing a stronger tripod which could support the rather heavy and large binoculars I have. This tripod is exceptionally well made and I have no doubt for "normal" binoculars etc, they are perfect.

I bought this tripod for its sturdiness and ability to carry 10 kg for my Pochade box. I was not disappointed.
