I’ve been tossing scrap food out for the animals for the past couple years but had no idea who I was feeding. I finally decided to purchase a trail camera so I could see whose enjoying the snacks. The Canpark camera is great. Easy to set up and to use. Unfortunately when I saw that I was feeding a coyote I was not at all pleased. I’ve taken the camera down and stopped the feeding for a few weeks in hope he moves on. Great pictures that are nice and clear. I did get a picture of a dog during the daytime that was extremely precise but I didn’t save it. I’m going to have fun with this camera and plan to take it further into the woods to see what else I can see.
Great pictures, decent price Great pictures, decent price Great pictures, decent price

Camera takes great pictures. Still playing with the settings as far as sensitivity goes. But I’m overall pleased at the quality for the price. (Picture taken of my computer screen)
Good Camera

As a naturalist who uses trail cameras throughout the year and in all terrains I have many trail cameras in my arsenal of kit which are in use all year-round and need to be robust and reliable. The K&F equipment I started off with was other accessories and I investigated the trail cameras - I'm glad I did, as the HC-900A was close in spec to a more expensive one I use. I took a chance on the HC-900A and it was so good that I got some more and recommended them - who also have got more. These are seriously great cameras - and you'll not get better for the price. Highly rated.

For an entry level product this is actually really good, if slightly overpriced. Build quality is reasonable and it's easy to setup.

The manual is total junk but will give you a rough idea where to start. If you need to adjust PIR sensitivity it's under "operate interval", you're best playing with timings as the default 5s will cause the device to record at the slightest movement.

Only reason why I give 4 stars is because the temperature is not accurate, its about 7c out, I assume the sensor is either faulty or placed near a warmer part of the device such as the battery compartment. Also the time stamp could do with being displayed with low opacity or without the grey bar to get more screen space. It says you can update the software but there is absolutely nowhere I can find that offers this.

I am having so much fun videoing the wildlife in the garden, daytime and night-time! Wanted to check that just hedgehogs were eating the hog food I put out for them and got a surprise. Yes the hedgehog, a tiny little mouse, a cat passed by but didn't like the insect derived kibble but settled for a drink of water and finally, at dawn, a seagull who pecked away and tossed the dish in the air!
Even though the IR is invisible it is very sensitive to security lights etc. so play about with ideal distances if you are focussing on a particular area to prevent "flare", especially if you want close-ups. I have also taped a tiny sliver of muslin-type material over the microphone pinhole to reduce wind noise, which helps when the wind is gusty. Great value for money!

The well camouflaged trail camera is great for watching wildlife, or even for home or farm security.

The camera was easy to set up with the normal choices for things like Mode (Video, Photo or both), Time and Date stamping, Target time and so on.

Perfectly serviceable trail cam. Decent quality day time pictures and not bad night shots and videos.
