I bought these for my uncle for Christmas as he has become very interested in the birds in his garden , especially during these strange "stay at home" days. The main reason for this purchase was ( I hoped) the ability to focus at quite short distances, as his garden is not that large. I set them up very quickly, adjusting them for each eye and "wow" very clear images, I do own other pairs of binoculars and telescopes so I know about good and bad images. Also I could focus down to approximately 12 feet, perfect, so much so that as soon as I had finished putting them back in the box, I ordered a pair for myself. I'm really impressed with the performance both during the day and the night, the moon displaying it's craters very clearly, as for the price, well a bargain indeed. Recommend.

I got a pair of these each for my young son and myself to help him with his burgeoning interest in birdwatching and this has really taken off for both of us with him always leading the flight. These binoculars are a really great starter set to get you going and for a young one to learn how to handle and value an on the way to being valuable and delicate item. Highly recommended, though I am upgrading to something with a little higher magnification for us soon. Very clear, very easy to use, very lightweight, a handy size and nicely priced too. We've never looked back with these, only forward, except when something appeared there to have a look at of course.

These are definitely not 30* magnification . I have a bigger pair that are 10* magnification and seem to a clear and better magnification than the DFlamepower . I'm not happy at all with them .
