I already have one of these adapters and I am so happy with it that I am happy to report about it. M42 lenses are good, high quality, durable and cheap. So why not adapt to modern cameras. If you look on the internet you will find a lot of information about it. This adapter is wonderfully suited to adapting old M42 lenses to MFT cameras such as the Panasonic Lumix GH5, the Olympus OM-D E-M10 or Blackmagic cameras. My absolute recommendation!

This is a passive mount adapter only. Ideally, it should be solid (as it certainly feels), inexpensive (which it is), and lightweight so it doesn't compromise your mirrorless camera's weight advantage. Recommended!

I have the original and this adapter. Both work exactly the same. The original looks a little nicer.

Was recommended this by a photographer friend and can agree, it's the best adapter ! Not at all wobbley. Great way to get more use out of some of the excellent lenses, that can be found quite inexpensively these days, on a modern camera.

Fits really well, creates a nice solid mount with little to no loose connection ensuring focus pulling is never shakey

Adapter is fully functional. No restrictions. Is like the original adapter. Just a lot cheaper.
