Pricing is fair and generally within the average going rate given this is 4G/LTE enabled unit. I own a similar type unit from the same brand that happened to be going for just a little less. Both units are to be considered really well priced given the market average.Given the value and build quality, this unit works great. The solar panel looks to be one of those “updated” designs with a really nice quality finish and design. Keep in mind, this is a solar CHARGING unit and not a solar powered unit. Take a moment to let that sink in and hopefully it’ll make some more sense. I would recommend fully charging this camera unit up before going ahead with real world use, this way you’ll avoid the unnecessary over extended “top up” that’ll be required (and to be maintained.)Video quality and features work fine. A worthy contender.

I came across this camera while looking for a camera with a solar panel. Installation was relatively easy. The connection camera / app / Fritzbox was problem-free. The solar panel must be properly oriented so that the camera does not require external power. The camera is absolutely sufficient for monitoring your own garden. Motion detection works too well. PS: A little tip: It is advisable to set the sensitivity of the motion sensor. At first I got a notification for every squirrel :)

Set up and mounted in rural northern Alberta and I am satisfied with the camera. Video quality on HD is great and notifications upon activity are also great. Would recommend.

Edit: 4G support in Canada is best in urban areas with the signal bands that this camera supports. After communicating back and forth, the seller indicates LTE-FDD：B2/B4/B5/B12/B13/B25/B26 as being supported. Make sure your cell provider supports that at the desired location. The Seller gave a partial refund after I could not get it to work in rural Nova Scotia. I kept it for the excellent USB-C solar panel charger.The camera itself is fantastic. I was able to get this working on Rogers in middle of Calgary, but not in rural Canada at its intended location. As such, I was able to test the APP and the save-to-memory card... everything works great. Perfectly in fact.It is too bad all these 4G type cameras don't have any indicators whatsoever to aid in troubleshooting other than a LED to indicate a problem. In a perfect world they would be dual WIFI+4G so you could use them on a LAN when 4G isn't available, and be able to log into them via wifi for troubleshooting purposes.

This is fantastic. It only outputs when it has enough sun. I know that sounds obvious but I have other solar panels that don't and drain the battery in poor light. This is great, the cord is very long so you can space the two items apart. Overall this is a fantastic usbc solar charger.

 Very well made security camera. Good picture quality, which you can switch from SD to HD if you like. The pivot and tilt has a bit of lag to it, but that might be the 4G connection because it lags once in a while as well. The zoom works well. In the app you can switch from the cloud storage to an SD card, which is not supplied. If you want cloud storage, you have to pay for it. You also have to pay for the Sim card subscription after you use up 300mb. The cloud is not expensive at 1.99 a month. The Cellular service however is expensive in my opinion, being 299.00 a year, for 60G. There are also smaller packages available. I used up the 300 mb in 5 days with about 30- 20 second videos a day quality set to SD. After you use up the free 300 mb, you must purchase more data in order to use the camera at all. The camera wont work without more data. I tried to reset the camera and use my Fido sim card, but it did not recognize it, so I could not get the camera up and running. Not sure if I speak with K&F if it is even possible to use another sim card. But if you need to monitor an area that does not have WiFi, this is the perfect solution however. As the camera is well made, good picture and the solar panel works perfectly. Oh and on the app you can monitor the battery level as well. I hope this helps in your decision making.

Mounted this panel above my outside security camera and plugged the USB cord into the camera. This is rated to have enough power output to keep the camera charged.It is mounted in an area that receives the sim most of the day.Only time will tell if it gets enough sim to keep the camera charged. So far so good!

At first only people were recognized, after talking to the technical service they told me that turning off the humanoid mode would detect any movement and that's it. Now when a cat or a car drives by, it picks it up.
