ND filters are essential for some types of photography, such as moving water effects - and which I suspect I exaggerate a bit .... And of course there are millions to buy and a wide range of costs. I have tried lots from super cheap kinesium resin to some decent quality and now this. First and foremost, it's optical glass. And it makes a difference because the type of resin, although not bad if you treat it with the utmost care, tends to scratch easily, and of course the optical quality no matter what the text says is nowhere near as good as decent glass. Secondly, it is very well made. I mean up there with the stupid prices well made that I have tried and used in a well known camera store. This is a real 100% first class set considering the production standard and the general feel of it. Smooth in action with perfect optical clarity across the density range. In use it is super easy. Fit - which is smooth given the well-made thread and then rotates the outer ring to the desired level of darkness. It saves a lot of nonsense with different filters or stacking them. Honestly, if you want a good selection of ND filters (not graduated of course), then this is a good choice. I used it on my Zeis Batis lens and it worked a treat. I was really worried I'd see an X in my footage when using this ND filter as other people have complained about this but I can confirm that there are absolutely no issues with the filter. I love the fact that is has a hard stop. It's so easy to screw it onto the lens and take it off. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!

Got this for my gh5 for when I went to Cyprus.
Was literally a life saver with it been so sunny. Didn't notice any colour issues when editing to footage.
Comes in a plastic box feels a bit cheap but does the job for keeping it safe.
Would reccomend to anyone not wanting to spend a fortune on a variable ND filter.

This is my second of these filters I have purchased. Got another lens so needed a different size. Love these filters, easy to use, no 'X' and no colour cast. My photo's and videos benefit greatly from the use of these great Products. Buy with confidence!

Brilliant for the price even if you make it a little soft with these, but is still great

This filter is well constructed with physical stops from the lightest to the darkest setting. This means no more endless spinning of the filter and therefrore prevents the dreaded "X" discolouration.
Because of this it's not the darkest filter (about 4 stops) but its good for most situations. Also the front of the filter is threaded (many arent!) so it is possible to add a lens cap or another filter, for example on rare occaision in really bright conditions I've added solid ND filter to it. Comes in a protective hard case too, great for when you're on your travels or storage. Overall, it's a quality item especially at this price!

As described, the filter came at a good price, the packaging is very valuable. I can not say anything about the quality here, because I have tried it out and the pictures are not available yet. However, the handling was excellent.

This variable ND filter has been excellent he has made a really big difference to the use on my Panasonic GH5S the only one slight thing to make a note of is that at the maximum darkness you do usually a slight vignette in the corners but when used on any of your settings it is perfectly fine and really help to shoot outdoors in a nice bright sunny day keep in your shutter speed and I slowed down to match your frame rate is excellent

Bought for my Fuji XA5 with the kit lens. Very easy to use, just screws on and comes in a portable container. Used it quite extensively over the weekend shooting long exposure of waterfalls in daylight, worked like a charm.
