The auto focus is slow but only if u are in screen view, but over all as a manual lens I love shooting with this! It is my go to! I have really learned a lot using this lens.

Nice 50mm lens for the price. Does what you expect, fits my canon Eos 50d with no issues. I’ve shot two sessions with it and so far no issues.

I like photography as a hobby. I always wanted a 50mm with a a low f stop to get that "look". Without spending a fortune I went with this and was blown away how with such little money you really get a quality lens. Amazing. Only complaint is it has a gloss ring on the lens that's prone to scratches and not as high build quality as name brand. But honestly I'm stretching for things to complain about. Amazing lens. Amazing quality.

I highly recommend this lens for a first upgrade from a kit lens. It is very basic, made from plastic, and the autofocus is slow in low light, but for around fifty bucks, you absolutely cannot beat the bokeh and image quality. Picture results hold their own against lenses 10x the price.

My first lens purchase after using the one my camera came with. I got this for portraits and it did not disappoint. I can’t believe I got this for $60. Amazing!

This lens honestly blew me away with how sharp it is. For the price I was expecting there to be some kind of compromise in image quality, but it actually looks great!
One thing to keep in mind is the auto focus motor is pretty loud, louder than any other lens that i’ve used. Its not an issue for me but I realize is might be a deal breaker for some.
Overall, well worth the price and I’m very happy with how it performs!

Have owned mine about 6 yrs. Close to being identical in performance to the Canon "Nifty Fifty". But one factor is its a hair faster , 1/2 f stop low light. Its light and a good addition to my lens collection.
