I like shooting urban scenes at night with lots of neon. This filter makes everything glow in a noticeable, but not obnoxious way. Any neon light in the background takes on a slightly milky look that can't be done in software--believe me I've tried endlessly, but can't make that work. I think this is because the creaminess is consistent throughout the composition, and for some reason tough to add artificially in post. That could be me, though. What this filter also does for me is present a concept of a somewhat foggy evening without the unpredictability of the weather, while also being subtle. What can I say? I like the soft glow!

I like the dreamy look this filter creates to my portraits while still allowing a very sharp focus to remain. I haven't had a chance to use it much so I'll report back any abnormalities should I encounter any but so far it's bee a nice lens addition.
