My husband wanted this for his truck engine but has been using this all over. It is really good for looking under furniture. We have dropped things that rolled under our bed or couch. This was perfect for quickly locating things and the wand is pretty long and very durable. The screen has a clear picture. I’m glad he got it and recommend this. It comes in handy when you are looking for something that you can’t easily get to.

Bought this for use as an auto mechanic. So far the picture quality great. Comes with a pretty nice storage case, charging cable but no power supply. Was able to connect to tablet to share pictures with customers. Overall worth every penny so far.

I used this borescope to check engine condition and also check for the parts that can not be seen.it is been really useful so far .It has been really hard to find the right borescope and finally I found the right one.I wish the cable diameter little bit smaller other than that it works great .

This thing was a nice surprise, as I didn't order it for its intended purposes but still found some use for it that helped me to better understand its limitations. I won't knock this thing for those "limitations" at all, though, as I realize those limitations aren't as likely to be reached if you're using this thing appropriately.
What makes this thing so versatile is how the camera portion articulates, making it easier to coax the camera around various bends. Obviously, since you're still ultimately somewhat at the mercy of the path you're following, you really do need a wall of sorts to ensure you can continue going in the direction you want to go if you're going any way other than straight. It's kind of hard to explain.
The limitations I stumbled across was when I tried putting this behind something with a clear path to the other side but wanted to veer off to one side and continue in that other direction, as the snake portion of this scope wanted to continue straight past the bend due to the lack of something to keep it from going straight. I'm sure more practice and patience would've gotten me further, though.
That said, I think this thing's really cool, and I think a lot of people will find it really useful. Highly recommended as long as you've got the use for it.

I like this bore scope.
The screen is a good size that makes it easier for me to see.
Being articulating makes such a difference.
I have always used bore scopes to inspect engine cylinders.
With a regular scope I could only see down, with this scope I can turn back and inspect the valves as well.
I can see so many other situations where this would really help.
I am pleased and I would buy again.

I've got some holes in my walls that I wanted to do some investigating into. I have a cheap wifi "camera on a wire" type device, but the camera is low quality and it's very hard to control once it's in the wall. This scope has two features that make it far superior. First, the directly of the camera can be controlled in a 180 degree arc with a knob on the handle - no matter how far in the hole you have it, you can point it where you need it. Secondly, it has a camera looking out the side - sometimes you don't need to see what's in front, but to the side.
The picture quality is excellent, and the 5 inch screen makes it easy to see what's going on. The light is bright enough to fully illuminate a dark space. Being able to see both camera angles at once is also nice, but I usually do just pick one or the other.
The included case is also very nice and sturdy - when you're not using the scope it will be well protected. The wire it's on is fairly stiff and will hold whatever shape you put it into. The only negative I have to say is that is is only 5 feet long. That's probably a practical limit to be able to control the head by wire, but it does limit some of the applications (like going deep into a pipe to find a blockage). Still, for scouting out ceilings and walls, it's perfect.
