I had done a lot of online research as well as talking to a to a lot of photography enthusiastic colleagues as regards to which is the best camera bag to buy. I have a three and a half year old son and my wife bought a really good camera. As we both were beginners in the specialised art of photography, we just bought a Nikon with a standard lens. Since the purchase, I started researching which is/was the best camera backpack to buy. After debating with my colleagues, I decided to get what would work for my needs (this was their advice). After 4 weeks of researching online (amongst various websites - thanks to google), I decided to buy this backpack. We took it on our first outing (when I had family visiting from abroad) on a long drive to the Lake District and then to Scotland with a lot of wet weather.I found the fact that I could remove the camera from the side without taking off the whole backpack really efficient. We then tried the backpack out on a visit to Venice a couple of weeks ago.I was able to fit in the "emergency nappies" in the slot for the tablet, fill up the top of the space with wet wipes, 2 changes of clothes and emergency use towelsfor the little one, etc.Due to the fact that we did not have any extra lenses, we used that space for more baby clothes, towels, etc.On our last 2 days, we were inundated with thunderstorms and I had my chance to check out the efficiency of the waterproof cover. To be honest, I applied the cover prior to venturing out in the thunderstorm and then when I checked the backpack later, There was not a drop of moisture over the areas of the backpack covered by the rain cover.Even though this backpack may be slightly expensive (for certain potential customers), I will recommend it for people in my stage of life. This is only for the simple fact, that it is very flexible/variable with regards to the camera storage compartment. After which you have a whole lot of choice as to how to use the storage area above the camera compartment.

Great camera backpack. You can tell the backpack has been designed to carry camera equipment around. The bag is extremely spacious and well made, it also has a good resistance to water. Is good value for money since the bag is well made.I would definitely recommend it.

I mainly wanted a camera bag that doesn't look like a camera bag, or have obvious logos on it suggesting to would be thieves that it may contain thousands of pounds worth of equipment. This fits the bill. The material and construction is generally good. One of the straps on the water bottle / tripod pocket was missing it's partner, so it has nothing to tighten up against. Not enough of an issue for me to bother returning it, but QC may be a little hit and miss on this. Otherwise it seems fine, zips work, plenty of dividers that can be moved around as needed.Have carried a medium sized DSLR, with three or four lenses (including a 100 - 400) in relative comfort all day. I have no doubt it could fit in a full frame model with battery grip too. top compartment is surprisingly roomy for stuffing in a raincoat, snacks etc. Side access is useful as you don't have to take it off to access your camera, however the material is quite soft, so you can't do the zip back up with one hand. So far I've balanced the camera on the bag when swung round in front of me to give two free hands to operate the zip. Works OK but a little fiddly.

Useful as has a section to hold waterproofs and windproof tops, but could do with being a bit bigger, as well as hold camera equipment

I love this bag - it is exactly what I hoped it would be and has enough room for all of my equipment, plus a little for other bits without needing a separate bag.

Top quality backpack , well designed and takes my D750 Nikon plus two lenses ( including a big heavy 80-200 ) top section good for flash and small point and shoot . Pictures are deceptive though you cannot really put shirts etc. In but ideal as a camera bag .

I've been shopping around looking for a backpack that would be suitable for travel/hand luggage that contains a separate compartment for general storage (in addition to an area dedicated to camera equipment) and I finally found it! This backpack from K&F ticks all boxes. It looks great, holds plenty, and feels comfortable. The key aspects for me are:Security:- It doesn't scream 'camera bag' and looks like a regular (good looking) backpack, so it is not obvious that you are carrying around hundreds of pounds worth of equipment/doesn't encourage theft.- the camera equipment is accessed from the side and 'behind' where your back is when you wear the bag, so it feels securely tucked away and is not easily accessible for general passers by/pickpockets to get to your most precious cargo.Storage:- As well as being able to store general things like a book, keys, phone, wallet and water bottle in the top compartment, you can fit plenty of camera gear in the dedicated camera compartment. I have one camera body, three lenses, a lens hood, memory cards and filters, cleaning equipment and I still have room for more.- There are plenty of little smaller velcro compartments for fiddly small things like memory cards so you don't have to worry about losing them.Comfort:- The bag feels super strong and sturdy; all your gear feels perfectly padded and protected.- The back area of the bag is also padded so the backpack is extremely comfortable to wear and the strap across your chest offers extra supports should you want it.Extra bonuses:- Nifty rain cover that fits like a glove should you get caught short when out shooting.- The colour is a lovely shade of blue and feels an excellent quality, as do all the trims and buckles/fastenings.- Tripod holder is a handy touch, and great for an easy access water bottle if you don't take your tripod with you.Final conclusions are that I love this bag, it's light, comfortable, stylish, practical and durable. I would recommend to any photographer, especially those that feel regular camera bags lack space for all of the non-camera related essentials we need when we go out. Happy Snapping!
Perfect travel companion

This bag is very nice, but I have had a few issues with stitching, and the mesh at the back became frayed and lose after just one week. It looks great though, and it is easy to get to the items you need in a hurry.
