Excellent tripod with super smooth action gimbol head. Originally thought I might not like the thumb screw adjustments (as opposed to the turnbuckles on conventional unit) however, they are great and very easy to use. Even in it's fully extended state the tripod is stable and does not exhibit any buckling tendancies. The leg extention clamps are positive and clamp very well. The overall feel of this tripod is one of exceptional quality, particularly considering the price.

Unfortunately unlike most of the reviewers on this item, I did not get one for free to test and write a glowing review...I paid the asking price and will not repeat what has been already been said about this tripod.I will just say this is the best tripod I have ever owned (10)

Very nice box but upon unboxing my first focus was on the well made & padded carry case with strong handles, could this get better? Wow I just love the look of this tripod. The alloy its made from seems very strong. Its very sturdy & well designed & looks like a much more expensive one. I like the fact that its not too heavy due to its sturdyness as it makes it very portable too. The fixtures, knobs etc appear to be well made and this makes me think that the manufacturer has put alot of time & effort into producing it. Depending on how you set it up you can capture ground shots very nicely which I am liking alot as no other tripod ive owned has an iverted centre part. It holds my camera very securely & its very quick to detach my camera. It adjusts smoothly & precisely which alows you to pin point your subject. Overall the tripod has plenty of adjustability in different ways & some great features so you should get some good crisp clear shots, saying all this it can be adjusted very easily though so its not hard to use. I think it would be good for newbies as well as proffesionals.My verdict is - Im pleasantly suprised, its one of those products that gave a litte more than expected. Worth the asking price and then some.

Ive even used a selfie stick adapter to put my iPhone on this mount as it had the standard screw fitting.This really is a treat as its well made, strong and very versatile. With lots of adjustable parts and a quick release mount at the top there’s some clever design and its not just a generic tool, its been thought out and made with care. It looks like it will last well.The carry case is very good to.Update: I've been using this for 5 months now and I've dropped it, shut a car boot on it. Used it in all sorts of weather and it still work great and looks brand new.I’ve tried to make this as helpful as I can, but if there’s something you want to know that I've left out, please ask in the comments.

This is a very sturdy well designed tripod which is light weight and seems like it would be good for travelling, however, it is a great shame that this tripod was miss advertised. This tripod was advertised as being able to be turned into a monopod as well as a tripod (which was the main reason I purchased it) however, when I received it it was clear that it was not possible to do so. There was also nothing in the instruction manual about it being able to be turned into a monopod.

I have given this product five stars as an initial first impression after unpacking the tripod.The tripod feels solid, some may say it might be a bit on the heavy side, however i would rather have something that is a bit heavier than something that is light and at the mercy of the weather.All the screws and nobs appear to be well made and securely attached to the threads.the final finish gives the impression that some one has given this tripod some thought.i was pleasantly surprised by the amount of metal that is used in its construction giving hopes that it will perform as well as it looks and feels. some aspects of its construction is somewhat better quality than supposed "named" brands that retail at a significantly higher price.Please do not get me wrong, i will be up dating this review from time to time and if anything is not right with this tripod, then i will certainly let you know about it.updateHad it few days now and been using it quite a bit, and have to say that the tripod really performs very solidly. however i have the chance to use the tripod with a Manfrotto MH055M0-Q6 magnesium ball heavy duty head. The tripod legs are more than a match to support this heavy head and i am still impressed by the performance and sturdiness any all positions (even with the substantially heavier head on).But please do not get the idea there is anything wrong with the head that is attached to the tripod when delivered because there isn't, i now use this head with a smaller tripod and it is working fantastically.Please keep looking in for further updates and longer use. I am still keeping the five star rating for now.
