Pretty cool how it has the 2 springs for a phone but then is expandable yet still uses the springs. The simple things right? And it has a vertical and horizontal tripod mount. It’s great!

It is small.
So small that I wasn't sure it is up for the job but was really nicely surprised.
Well made. Good enough and rather nothing there to break in terms of plastic. Good cushioning (orange).
The stretching - there are release buttons you need to press to get the full length of it. Something I needed to work out myself as there was no instruction attached.
Look carefully and you'll notice small buttons placed diagonally.
I was doubtful if it can hold my ipad, but hey - surprisingly - it can. Very easily.
In my case - iPad being in the case didn't matter. It wasn't sliding off or losing the grip.
The standard screw allows it to be placed on any tripod, selfie stick etc.
I wish it came with instruction instead of self discovery!
Great item and the clamp is well worth the £13.99 (promo) price. It is also worth the full price (£17.99) in my opinion.

This is a very versatile cell phone and tablet holder for a tripod. Without using the extension, it will hold any typical cell phone . There are two buttons on the side that will open out wide enough to hold up to an an iPad or most tablets. There are 2 1/4" threaded holes, one on the back and the other one on the side with a notch cut out for cables. The other side has a cold shoe you can mount lights or other accessories. This holder seems sturdy and stable and I didn't notice any wobble when using it.

This is a very versatile cell phone and tablet holder for a tripod. In it’s normal configuration It will hold any typical cell phone for mounting on a tripod for videography or photography. But, with the push of one, or two, buttons on the side, it ratchets out wide enough to hold up to an 11 inch tablet when you want to use that instead of, or in addition to, your cell phone.
Even when it’s expanded for a tablet, it’s still very sturdy and stable, no wobble. Resizing it is quick and very easy. There are two standard 0.25 inch mounting screw holes on the bottom and the side to facilitate either landscape or portrait orientation.
It also has a dry-shoe mount for holding accessories like lights or mics.
This is a very rugged little holder. You’ll fell the tightness of the springs and sliders and general construction. The touch of orange on black helps the aesthetics also.

I got this mount specifically for my iPad Mini 6 and it has been great for that so far. Body of the mount is plasticy, but seems sturdy enough for now. I do worry about the longevity of this mount , but so far I have no complaints. Would recommend for anyone looking for a mount big enough for a tablet but small enough to put in pocket

At maximum my unit opens to a about 21.3cm. Its smallest size is about 6.1cm.
It wouldn't hold an iPhone 5s (5.8cm wide) for example.
It did hold my largest tablet, the 12.3" HP Chromebook X2 (21.14 cm). It bows a little bit with larger devices.
The unit is mostly plastic except for the orange silicone grippers, and the internal springs/rods. It has a brass insert on the bottom grip, and behind the main body. The top grip has a cold shoe mount.
My unit weighed about 65g.
The grippers don't handle large cases with flat sides very well. Ideal will probably be thinner devices (<8mm), and devices with rounded edges (like iPhone 6-11).

He probado varios soportes para tablets con tornillería para trípodes y éste sin duda es uno de los mejores. Está construido en plástico grueso y de buena calidad y tiene recubrimiento de goma en las zonas en las que apoya el tablet.
Se puede ajustar la longitud de ambos lados de forma independiente usando dos botones situados a cada uno de los lados del adaptador. Aparte, los topes usan un sistema de tensión con gomas para que hagan fuerza y el tablet no se caiga.
Tiene soporte para acoplarle un trípode tanto en la parte trasera como en uno de los cantos, de forma que se pueda usar tanto en vertical como horizontal.
Lo recomiendo.

This holder is amazing. It has spring-loaded jaws - with a difference. Press the release button(s) and one or two arms holding the spring-loaded jaws can be extended from the main body, increasing the size of the device it can hold. The one downside as you can see from my photo is that the jaws are smaller than I would like and they don't have a good grip on my SmallRig iPhone 15 cage. Wish the jaws were just a bit bigger.
