First the good. This is a well machined and properly threaded magnetic ring with a multi-coat, optically clear polarized filter. The filter rotates easily to find optimal polarization. Results are as expected when taking pictures in the right conditions. Darker, richer blue skies especially in typical landscape shots. The magnetic ring allows for quick exchange with other filters or stacking of multiple filters.

My issue is that my standard lens cap for a Sony 24-105 F4 G OSS lens does not work on either the lens sitting inside the magnetic ring or on the magnetic ring itself. I get it. It is a kit that needs a K&F cap. This is the exact same issue I had reviewing a prior combo lens from K&F.

Search on Amazon for just the lens cap that fits the CPL? Extra but available. This was the case almost a year ago when I reviewed a similar combo. I rarely use a lens out in the field without having a cover available. Multiple covers? Another inconvenience. Sorry. Minus 2 stars for not correcting this issue.

It makes little sense to have a two-piece kit that only includes a magnetic ring and filter, especially if this is your first K&F set. Bottom line? Be sure to order the set with a lens cap if it is important to you. 5/5 for optical clarity and lens functionality. No lens cap? 3/5.

Good quality CPL filter which I've been using on my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 Sport lens for motorsport photography. It has the added benefit of being magnetic, which is great for when you want to quickly remove it and even better if you buy the other filters in this range as you can quickly swap them over. The magnet is nice and strong and I've not felt like it could accidently fall off.

However, I did find that my Sigma lens cap doesn't fit well to the filter or the magnetic ring either, it just about clips on but it isn't secure and falls off easily. I also found the CPL filter difficult to remove with my lens hood on as I couldn't get my fingers around the filter.

Overall a good filter and very good value, I just wish my lens cap would at least fit onto the magnetic ring as having to unscrew the ring to attach my lens cap kind of defeats the point of the magnetic feature.

I view a CPL as a "just-in-case" type filter. So I usually have one in my bag but seldom use it. I guess I like the reflections in a lot of cases, especially in street photography. Perhaps if I did more nature photography I would feel differently. So the fact that this has a magnetic ring is just perfect. That way I can just snap it on when I need it. It doesn't seem to like a lens cap, but I really don't use those either, as I have a decent UV filter on there all the time and occasionally shoot with a hood. I am using this on my 24-105mm S on my S5IIX. With this stacked on a UV filter I still see no vignette at the wide end, which is what I was hoping for.

I've been shooting with 35mm cameras since I was 16 years old and that was 56 years ago. I have a collection of cameras I use and lots of accessories including filters that I can use across my camera collection. I've always found changing filters while shooting to be a pain. Screwing them on and unscrewing to remove them. It takes time and coordination. Then about a year ago I was introduced to magnetic filters.

Magnetic filters remove the need to screw on and off the filters you are using. There is an adapter ring which screws on to the front barrel of the lens and the filter's outside rim is magnetized so instead of screwing the filter on and off it mounts and adheres to the adapter magnetically. To replace filters you just need to pull off the filter to be removed and pop on the desired filter. No screwing needed. I'm sold on them.

I now have magnetic adapters for each of my main lens diameters and am slowly replacing my conventional filters with the magnetic filters. Most brands of magnetic filters are compatible with each other so you can mix and match.

I've been buying K&F concepts filters for a long time. I'm confident in their quality and I know that they stand behind their product and for the price, you can't go wrong.

A magnetic polarising filter, what a brilliant idea! I rarely use a polarising filter as I find them a faff. With this one I screw on the filter ring over my existing UV filter (also K&F Concept but I think all filters are pretty standard and just leave it in situ, no need to remove it every time. The polariser just pops on and off so easily, without being unsecure that it will just drop off during use. I haven't tried walking and bouncing around with the filter on, just in case, only when I am actually using it. The polariser just twists to the position you want and it doesn't affect the ring at all, it doesn't unscrew from the lens. And it does it's job as a circular polariser. Comes with a lens cleaning cloth too. I think this is going to change my landscape photography for the better.

Another excellent filter from K&F Concept who produce quality products at reasonable prices.

This polarizer lens is great, it helps with water (or oily faces)!

Easy to install and remove on your lens, and the thread is perfect.

I like my K&F Concept 58mm Magnetic Circular Polarizer Lens Filter. It fits well magnetic or screwed in place.
The quality of the filter is very good.
It also takes a lens cap securely to protect it when not in use.

Got the 77mm for my 24-70 and 70-200 Canon zooms; it came nicely packaged with a sturdy filter case and microfiber cloth. Screwed in easily on both lenses and works great!
