As with most K&F products I've tested, the build quality of this filter is very good and there didn't seem to be any issues with unintended alterations to the image. I've been pretty impressed with K&F products as a whole, actually, and this is no exception. The gold streak effect is pretty awesome and something that I have been interested in trying for a while due to it's uniqueness - I've just scratched the surface with the creativeness that this filter can provide and look forward to using it in different situations. Having said all that, I don't think there's any way I could have justified buying this (it was a free review product) for the cost. The 52mm that I picked up is listed for $32 and obviously the larger the filter the more it costs. $32 is definitely not super expensive when it comes to photography gear but the cost-to-use ratio wouldn't be in my favor as this is an ultra specific filter that will only be used sparingly. I have K&F diffusion filters that never leave certain lenses because they have an in-camera look that I love. This filter definitely wouldn't fall into the same category. It is a really nice filter though and if you're looking for something like this then the K&F would be something to consider.

I really like the effect this filter gives. I've tried it on a couple lights inside the house and a local street light and it gives the gold streak effect nicely. I'm eager to try it out on some street photography the next time there's a fair or festival with a lot of lights on rides and attractions. I think it'll present a cool look to the photos.

I own several K&F products and I've always been impressed with the quality of their products. This filter is no exception, it's a quality product. It is of course a very specific use filter, but it works great if your intent aligns with its purpose.

In a world where photo editing (lightroom/photoshop) is so prominent some might argue this effect could be added in post but I prefer to capture with my camera and do minimal post-processing. This gives you the ability to capture neat shots with an artistic/cinematic feel straight from your camera.

Overall I'm quite happy with this filter and it will make a great addition to my collection of photographic equipment.

This is a really cool effects filter. It's made really well and gives a beautiful gold streak almost like an anamorphic lens. Put this on some nice glass and you'll love it.

The only problem is it's a nice look. It's not something you'll get a ton of use out of. And if you mainly shoot with natural light, you may not always get the angle of sunlight necessary to make the streak appear. Artificial lighting you can always point something in the direction of the lens.

I recently added this gold streak effect filter to my photography gear, and it’s been a fantastic tool for creating unique and striking visuals. The filter adds a beautiful gold streak effect to your shots, enhancing highlights and giving your images a dynamic, artistic flair. It’s perfect for adding a touch of glamour and creativity to both portrait and landscape photography.
The filter is well-constructed and fits securely on my lens, with a clear, high-quality glass that doesn’t compromise image sharpness. It’s easy to attach and remove, and the effect is noticeable without being overpowering. Whether you’re looking to experiment with creative lighting or simply want to add a bit of sparkle to your photos, this gold streak effect filter is a great addition to any photographer’s toolkit. Overall, it’s a great way to elevate your shots with a touch of elegance and visual interest.

I've recently picked up a variety of different K&F filters (ND, mist, etc) and have been impressed with them. They offer a great value compared to some other brands, and the quality is nearly indistinguishable. With this filter, it's aiming to give you the type of flares that you expect to see from an anamorphic lens. While those lenses have a more subtle flare, this filter products far more streaks under certain lighting conditions. The fact that you can get that look on whatever lens is pretty sweet though, and for that I'd recommend it if you like the look.

I am a fan of K&F Concept and love the fact that they can produce quality products at affordable prices.

I obtained this filter with an 82 mm diameter thread, and it attaches to the lens beautifully. However, like a lot of filters, it is easier to access with the lens hood off the lens. In this case, I have found that better results are achieved with the lens hood off. The more light across the filter, the better the result.

A nice storage case is provided with the filter, so there is very little chance of it getting damaged when it is tossed into a camera bag.

Further use, and, some decent weather, should see my results improving!

This thing is really fun to shoot with - love the gold streaks it makes! It doesn't have a wide application range, but its a REALLY fun lens filter to use to make some things POP in a golden way!

As you'd expect from a K&F product it works like you'd expect. Does a nice job of creating those light streak from most light sources. You can rotate the lens to angle each light streak however you want for your project. Haven't taken any photos with it just yet but I can tell this will serve me well. Was surprised the carrying case was abit bigger than I thought.
