I will preface this with a disclaimer... I have never used nor have I had a tripod before. I know nothing. If you want a super technical review, look for Trent's review. It appears he's an expert. But for little old me who knows nothing, this is an awesome piece of equipment! I just wanted something to hold my phone for group pics and long exposure sunsets and astronomy pics. This does the job. I feel safe with my phone hooked in and the pod is not wobbly. I also think it's much heavier than I expected, which gives me more piece of mind. And it's inexpensive. I like it ...although it comes with a lot of things that I will never use and also don't even know how to use. hahaha

This compact, lightweight tripod is a great budget choice for a tripod. While not comparable to top tier carbon tripods, it is stable and sturdy, and it has lots of options for adjusting the height and angle of your camera. It pans smoothly. Because it is wonderfully lightweight and compact, I've found myself reaching for this tripod rather than my much larger, heavier, professional tripod. It does the job just as well!

I took this out to the park with my camera and it held up well, even in some wind. It feels sturdy, and I like how tall it gets.

The movement isn't super smooth for video, and adjusting the tilt is a little stiff, but for photos it works great.

Nice little tripod for pictures/video. I liked the way the arms fold in together to make it a little easier to carry, but I'm not sure how long some of the tightening screws will last. It feels sturdy and solid so I'm going to give this a good amount of use this summer for sure.

This tripod is really nice. It moves smoothly and locks in place easily with multiple height adjustments. You can even adjust it with one hand. It's lightweight but still sturdy. It comes with a nice bag that actually has room for all of the extra modular parts it comes with, and those parts cover pretty much any activity you might want. It will hold a phone (and turn to just about any angle with that attachment), cameras, etc. I don't do much photography but honestly this could encourage me to learn, it's really high quality equipment.

Super affordable and high quality tripod. This works so well, looks nice, and is easy to use. It isn't too heavy which makes it easy to transport.

Everyone who likes taking pictures with their phone should have one of these. You have all the attachments you need and a carry bag/case. It has attachments for your phone or a SLR camera with the threaded screw attachment. It's so easy to set up and pan and scan for videos too. This will keep your phone far more steady than any optical stabilization. I have something like this that is a little bulkier and heavier so this one is a treat to carry. It can be set really any height you need. The only thing my other one has that this doesn't is that a level. There is no level on the headpiece so you'll need to rely on your device's horizontal leveling if you have one. Not many have a level, but I think it would have been the cherry on top. It's built well and it collapses to a compact size. This also comes with a camera shutter Bluetooth button too. This might become my favorite tripod. At the very least, you need one for family pictures, no? It's a pretty complete package.

This tripod came at the absolutely right time as my very old one (10+ years to be quite precise) broke not too long ago and I've missed having one!

The compact style is very new to me and I love how easy I can lift and maneuver it with one hand. We actually had a home maternity photoshoot not too long ago, so being able to move this around with ease made that photoshoot incredibly easy and frustration free. The quick release plate also made the photoshoot very easy when we wanted some handheld shots vs the tripod.

It also comes with a built in level as well as a Bluetooth remote that I found quite easy to pair up. The remote is responsive and, again, makes photoshoots very quick and easy.

Overall, an excellent lightweight, functional tripod! It's amazing how tall it gets (taller than me at just over 6 foot!) and feels very stable when it is at those taller heights.

This is an outstanding value priced tripod from a trusted brand. I love it!

Keep in mind this tripod is super lightweight and portable, so you can take it anywhere, but you need to keep in mind that lightweight tripods are less sturdy and stable compared to heavier and more expensive tripods, so you need to be sure you set it up securely before you mount your camera.

There's a hook at the bottom of the center column that makes it easy for you to add some extra weight, such as handing your camera bag or do what I do, which is to cary an empty bag that you can fill with rocks, sand, or whatever you can find while you're hiking.

It's a surprisingly solid tripod considering how inexpensive it is. I've had a K&F tripod in the past, but sold it when I upgraded to a Manfrotto for more serious work, however I've been needing a travel tripod since that Manfrotto is bulky. This thing is really compact when folded down, and seriously stable considering it's rather lightweight. For heavier kits, you may want to keep it shorter than full height, but with a Canon RP with a 24-105L, it had no problems. The option to hang something from the center post hook will help keep it stable as well.

The adjustments are smooth, all of the joints are plastic but have a lot of interleaving segments that make it seem very rigid. You will notice a bit of sag after tightening the elevation tilt joint though since it is still just plastic, but that's not much of a problem once you get used to it. The portrait tilt adjustment on my tripod is just slightly not level, I had to tighten it as I held the joint closed to keep it from springing back. All of the tube sections seem sturdy, but be a little cautious when lowering the center post if you elevate the camera, the screw keeps it from moving but it's free to drop without any sort of friction joint when you loosen that screw.

All in all, a great tripod for the price, especially if you want to use it for travel. The bonus phone holder and phone shutter release were welcome additions. It looks pretty slick too.
