43mm Black Mist 1/4 & CPL Filter 2 in 1 Black Diffusion Circular Polarizing Effect Filter with 18 Multi-Layer Coatings Nano-Klear Series
SKU: KF01.2756
This filter gives you that new craze of black mist to make your videos look less digital and dreamier. The more you play around with this filter; you will realize a large part of the look comes from the lens you are using it with. Add in some polarization and it's easy to get lost in repeatable results. That said, it's an awesome tool to play around with and really dial in a unique look.
As with many polarizers, you get a warm/cool push into the image with the added/subtracted contrast. It's nothing you can't fix in post or even that noticeable depending on the scene. I think most people will like the ability to stack a polarizer with black diffusion, though it is quite strong. Like I said though, depending on the lens you will get different results. If it feels strong, use less highlights and/or a sharper lens. Overall, I'm liking it.

I've become a fan of K&F filters recently. Quality wise, I'd say they're easily on the same level as Tiffen and Hoya consumer options, usually for the same or lower price. This one specifically, a mashup between a CPL and mist filter, gives you a good amount of control in how much certain sources are causing haliation (the mist effect), so things can be more "cinematic" without being completely blown out. I do miss the light from the reduced transmission sometimes, but it could be a great tool for certain circumstances.

I didn't use this with a traditional camera. I have a filter holder/adapter for my phone. I used this filter with my phone while filming a social media livestream for work. The filters minimized the reflection from the glass to the live. In other words, the filters made the livestream easier to see for the audience. The filters are durable and I appreciate that a case is included. As I'm preparing for livestreams and other social media activities, having a case ensures that my fingerprints are not on the filters and that I can toss them into my bag without damaging them.

This diffusion filter has been on my camera since I got it. It's pretty excellent in the way that the diffusion is subtle enough that it's not overpowering yet adds an overall softness to the image and gives a rays of light graduated fall off. The filter pairs perfectly with FujiFilm cameras and all of their film simulations. It also feels very high-quality as the ring is made of metal, glides smoothly as you turn it and has very optically clear glass. I've tried a lot of this brands products and definitely believe they make great stuff.

The K&F Concept 77mm filter is a solid choice if you’re looking to add a little extra flair to your photography or videography. The combination of the Black Diffusion 1/4 and Circular Polarizing filters really helps create a smooth, cinematic look, especially when you’re shooting portraits or landscapes. The diffusion effect softens the image a bit and gives it that dreamy, film-like vibe, while the polarizer cuts down on glare and enhances colors, making your shots pop.
The 18-layer coating is a nice touch, providing better clarity and helping to reduce reflections and smudges. It’s also built pretty well, feeling solid but not too heavy. The filter screws on easily and fits securely, so you don’t have to worry about it coming loose while you’re shooting.
Overall, this filter is a great tool for adding more creative control to your shots, whether you’re a professional or just getting into photography. It’s a bit of an investment, but if you want to elevate your camera gear and get that cinematic look, it’s definitely worth considering.

I had been looking for an affordable 1/4 Black Diffusion filter but this particular one from K&F Concept caught my eye as it also had a CPL built-in, eliminating the need to use two separate filters. After some use, I can say I'm pretty pleased with the results!
Both work as one would expect when using them separately. The CPL helps eliminate glares and reflections (mostly but not completely) while the black diffusion helps soften lights to help give it that dreamy aesthetic. I do find this more useful for video though as I can usually achieve a dreamy look in photography a bit easier than with video.
The K-Series is their most affordable line but it doesn't mean it skimps on quality. It delivers pretty good results with no major issues from what I've seen so far. I'm not noticing any weird tints or significant drop in sharpness which is good.
You're getting a lot of good value with this filter. K&F Concept already provides good value on a lot of their products and they've increased it by offering both a circular polarizer and a Black Diffusion all in one. I would highly recommend taking a look at this if you're looking for a useful tool to help achieve some dreamy and creative results!

I have been looking for an affordable alternative to the PolarPro everyday filter. This is perfect!!! I compared it with the everyday filter, side by side. They produces very similar result. The everyday filter might be a bit warmer, but can't tell the difference unless put them next to each other. The price is much more reasonable!! I will bet getting couple more for my different lenses.

This K&F Concept 1/4 Black Mist CPL filter has been a great addition to my photography kit! I primarily needed a circular polarizer, but the added mist effect has been a pleasant surprise. It fits perfectly on my 67mm lens, and even better, my lens cap fits snugly over it, so I can leave both on without any issues.
The CPL works as expected, cutting down reflections effectively. I tested it at a 45-degree angle to a window on a bright day, and it significantly reduced glare. While no CPL is 100% effective at removing reflections, this one performs just as well as some of the pricier options I’ve used before.
The built-in 1/4 Black Mist adds a subtle, dreamy quality to my photos, especially around bright lights, creating a soft, cinematic vibe. It’s perfect for portraits, as it softens skin in a flattering way. I did notice some detail loss, which might be a downside for those aiming for super sharp images, but the overall effect is beautiful, especially for creative shots.
The filter is slim, lightweight, and has a nanocoating that keeps it clear of scratches. The 2-in-1 design is super convenient, reducing the need to stack filters and risk losing image quality. It’s held up well during my shoots, both in hazy conditions and near water, where it really helps manage harsh reflections.
Overall, this filter is versatile, well-made, and offers great value. Highly recommend it for photographers looking to add a cinematic touch to their shots!

My experience with this lens filter so far has been quite positive. The lens so far came in handy for multiple scenarios, and that is what I was hoping for. The effects are perfect when in focus, especially the mist filter. That filter really needs to be done right, doing too much just seems unnatural later, unless that is the goal. Mist filter was not my primary reason for the filter though, it was for the reflections I get near water and in glass. The ones in water tend to blow out my highlights, ruin the image completely if I don't make the corrections, we all know that feeling. This is the perfect response for that.
