I have a 58mm K&F Concept K-series filter, and don't get me wrong, it's very nice and a very good value, but the glass here is better and it has a more premium look and fill. Machining is excellent, the threads are super smooth, it feels solid in the hand and you can just tell the glass is good by looking at it. It's hard to describe, but the images look more pleasing than the K-series, granted they're on two different lenses. It has a really nice soft, dreamy effect that I love for portraits, the variable ND works as it should, and the CPL does it's job without distorting or coloring my images. It's an excellent filter and pairs nicely with the Sigma lens it's on; I'd definitely recommend this filter both to amateurs and professionals alike.

This filter is really odd but in a great way. The 3-in-1 nature is really useful. The CPL and ND filters are great enough to warrant the price, but the black diffusion feature is a really cool add-on. The quality is on par with K&F offerings, which is great.

(EDITED 033125) I've now used this filter enough in the field to weigh in a bit further.

One of the remarkable things about this is the ultra smooth nature of the rotation when adjusting the ND. It createa a far better transition in your final product than say the built-in ND filters on a C70. If you have to react to changing outdoor lighting, this is the way to go because ND changes become almost imperceptible to the end viewer. Other adjustable ND filters I've used are not as smooth as the action on this item and cause some visible transitional issues

The black mist diffusion is 1/4 and I would love to have a 1/8 version. The 1/4 does a really good job but for my applications, I would rather have less diffusion than more. If it were 1/8, I'd likely never take this off my camera.

The build quality of this filter is top notch. It feels very, very solid in the hand. The rubberized areas are really pro feeling and make this feel like a filter that cost quite a bit more.

PROS: this diffusion/nd filter is a nice addition for mt camera, excellent fr outdoor usage, fit my lens perfectly, it provides a nice smooth diffusion effect while filtering the sunlight well with the built in ND, and keeps the colours looking true to life. It also turns smoothly to adjust the ND. And i saw no X pattern at any stops.

Honestly, I'm not sure if this is better than stacking 3 filters together. I'm still trying to figure out the best case to use it, but keep in mind if you put this on. You're going to have a black diffusion effect on everything you shoot, versus if you were to just use a polarizer or an n d separately

I find this to be an excellent outdoor filter. The combination of CP and variable ND filters covers a lot of bases for outdoor photography on sunny days. Even shooting sunlight through tree branches was achievable without bleaching out the whole image. Adjustment of ND filter and CP filter is conveniently done with the twist knob. Fiddling to get the perfect shot takes a few seconds, so this would be difficult to use for outdoor action shots. The black diffusion 1/4 adds just a touch of softness.

Keep in mind you won't be using most lens hoods with this filter, the knob precludes this. Also, normal lens caps won't attach and hold. But, since this filter is not a screw it on and forget it type, these are minor inconveniences.

The only hesitation I had in ordering this was deciding on which size but elected for 67mm which fits both my phone cage and a selection of my Fuji lenses.
As with most, if not all, K&F products, fit and finish are perfect and performance is as to be expected with zero visible aberration.
Some vignetting can be seen when using the Variable ND unless one is very precise, but this is fixable in post and a known issue with Variable ND as opposed to set stop ND filters

Wow... An amazing filter for the price. I was very skeptical at first about having a 3-in-1 filter set but I couldn't be more happy with the results from a cinematic video point. The Variable ND, the CPL, and the Diffuser 1/4 pro mist make for a fantastic videographer set! It brings a beautiful cinematic look and feel to an outdoor shoot. It's super easy to mount and love it more than I thought I would. The handle on it makes for faster filter adjustments and it tightens to keep it from moving. The filter material itself is impressive. You can tell that this filter is made with quality in mind. A good value and price also! A must-have for any cinematic filmmaker for a quick outdoors filter set that is quality you can get from K&F these days. I would say this is more for video than photography. A good value!

PROS
-a great triple function filter
-it’s a very specialised filter, but it’s ideal for certain use cases
-little to no colour cast as you move through the vari-ND range
-extremely well made: the two moveable elements move well (the CPL more stiffly than the vari-ND, which is necessary), and the threads don’t bind on my lenses and step down rings (I got the 82mm version so I could step down to any of my smaller lenses)
-presentation (box plus case) is top quality (I was particularly impressed with the case, so nice)
-no discernable “X” problem with the variable ND (of course, that’s because, at its max position, it’s not too strong)
-great little knob on the vari-ND, can lock the filter or use it to adjust its position. It does not come off (so no chance of losing it)
-black mist filter is not overly strong, but discernible
-as they point out in the listing, three filters in one means you don’t have to stack filters (and this will reduce the chance of vignetting, if not also flare)

CONS
-when moving the variable-ND, there is a corresponding (though quite small) movement of the polariser
-needs an 86mm lens cap (vs. the 82mm cap you might have for your lens)

NOTES
-this is not an inexpensive filter, but for those who need its unique capabilities, the price will be well worth it.
-naturally you’re not going to be able to use a lens hood with this filter (its diameter is quite wide, compared to its filter size, plus there is the non-removable knob for the vari-ND element). If you need to shade from the sun (or other bright light sources), then a matte box would seem to be necessary.
-at this level and price point, I could wish for brass rings, instead of aluminium.
-given that someone buying this for an 82mm lens will very likely not have an 86mm lens cap, it would’ve been nice if one of those could have been provided with this filter.
