PROS: this filter is great combines CPL, ND, and diffusion, it fit well on my camera lens, it adjusts easily, and provides a good natural image outdoors in sunlight. Makes images look a bit softer with more vibrant colours i dolike the look of the images/videos created with this filter. And i have observed any X pattern.

CONS: its a bit expensive and the filter coating can scratch easily if your not careful, the ND adjustment can is a little loose, i saw slight vignette at the highest ND Stop(not a huge deal for me but may be for you)

Overall I would recommend this product to others

This is a combination of a black diffusion filter, a 1 to 5 stop variable neutral density filter, and a standard circular polarizer. As such, it does what it would normally take separate stacked filters to do. It's a versatile, do-it-all filter.

Quality is good, with smooth turning rings and easy to mount threads. Three microfiber cloths are included in the plastic clamshell case (not sized to the filter, which just rattles around in the case).

There are some downsides:
1) There are no threads on the outside of the filter, so another filter or lens cap cannot be added on top of this one.
2) The adjustment knob prevents the addition of a lens shade (almost a deal breaker for me), and the knob is not removable.
3) Turning the variable ND filter can be difficult.

Some photographers prefer a 1/8 diffusion filter to this 1/4 version, but I like the increased diffusion it affords.

I have a few other diffusion/ ND combo filters but this one is probably the most versatile of the bunch, the inclusion of a CPL filter on this specific filter is a game changer for some scenarios. Specifically, if you're filming outside and want to cut through atmospheric haze, remove reflections from pools of water or film from the outside through a car window. All this while combined with a diffusion filter and a VND to help you control light, maintain a constant shutter speed and a nice cinematic bloom effect to your images. Overall, it's super versatile and if you're looking for a nice all in one filter to drop into your kit, this is one you should consider.

Great combination filter that is a lot more convenient to use than stacking a CPL and ND on your lens. These sorts of filters are of course not meant to live 24/7 on your lens, nor should you expect your hood to fit (besides, that would block the ability to adjust the filters, this one or any such adjustable type).

Optics are top notch, with minimal vignetting noticed (and easily adjusted in post).

The K&F Concept 77mm Black Diffusion Mist Effect 1/4 & Variable ND2-32(1-5 Stops) & Circular Polarizing Filter is a fantastic filter to have on hand. This is part of the K series of the K&F Concept filter line. K&F came on the scene a few years back with the K- Series, Nano X and Nano X Pro series of filters. And these filters are excellent in optical and mechanical quality. They give the big names, a major run for their money. I was one of those guys that spent hundreds of dollars per filter. Now I use the K- Series and Nano X Pro filters on all of my lenses. And when it comes to polarizer, neutral densities, black mist or light pollution, you can't go wrong with these filters. This filter has 18 multi coated layers. And has a precision machine holder. The rotation of the filter is smooth and fluid. This combo filter has a locking knob and is a nice feature. There is no detectable added glare or flaring. As I said, I run these filters on all my lenses, including my Canon L and Z lens. I highly recommend these filters and would not hesitate purchasing one.

I ordered one of these as well as a nano-x series. I think the k-series is great bang for the buck. I did not notice a difference in image quality. The k-series comes in a plastic clamshell in the cardboard box (vs a fake leather carry case for the nano-x) and the k also has less lens coatings. If you really need those coatings, by all means get the nano-x. But if you just want a straigh-up polarizer/ND/diffuser this is great.

Be aware you can't use a lens hood with this due to the adjustment knob, and you also can't mount other filters in front of it or even put your lens cap on the front. It is a very specific use case filter that you'll put on when you need and then take off.
The polarizer and ND work together in such a way that you will need to set ND first, then screw down the adjustment knob to lock it in place, than set your polarizer where you want it.

This filter was still a touch too thick to use with my Sony FE 24-105 G OSS without causing some minor vignetting, but stepping up to an 82mm seems to be fine.
