This filter works well on my lenses. The effect is a tad subtle, but it does a good job at softening your images. This is much helpful when working on portraits by adding a slightly soft effect, but retaining a good amount of sharpness. These will also come in handy if you're shooting videos. The filter is solidly built and attaches to the lens with ease. It came with a microfiber and a lens cap so I was a bit surprised to see those included. For anyone in photography or videography these will help out a lot.

This filter performed beautifully and exactly as I expected it to. The 1/4 black mist took just the finiest edge off of sharpness and contrast, giving the effect of shooting through a light fog. Haloing around point sources of light was noticeable, but not distracting.

I ordered this 52mm 1/8 diffusion filter by brand K&F CONCEPT for my 23mm portrait lens, and while the term "Black Diffusion" or "Pro Mist" is usually an ideal created by the more premium filter brands, but I think it's a generic term that can be used by any brand, as this filter creates a nearly if not identical soft focus effect, for an equal value.
I have no issues with this filter; in fact it was ordered as a replacement for said more "premium" filter that broke. This brand matches the quality both in terms of effect it produces, and also the quality of the aluminum casing and glass itself, I honestly see no difference, and I have always loved this diffuse effect as it allows me to create a more "filmic" look to my images.
Product is equal in quality to brand names, and I will definitely be getting more of these for other lenses. 5 stars.

K&F Concept have always had excellent filters and this is no exception. Included with all of their filters is a quality case and microfiber cloth. This also adds a lens cap an a orange retaining strap so as not to lose it. Note that the green coating covers the entire front of the filter not partially as suggested in the description graphic.

The K&F brand is synonymous with quality camera filters. They are my first choice when looking for any type of filter for my lenses and have options at about every price point. This filter helps to soften your digital image a bit. Hard to believe we are in a time where the image can be "too sharp", having come from film, sharp images were always the desired result. With digital cameras, we are now looking to obtain some of those attributes that film provided. This black diffusion 1/4 filter provides the desired effect and is a good value. Really good for portraits.

Wonderful filter. Like all my other K&F filters, this one is beautifully made and high quality. This is one of those filters that you need in your kit. You can do so much with it beyond creating portraits with a dreamy feel. I use this filter at night too and love it! It throws a good chunk of mood to a scene. Such fun! I am also using it for astrolandscapes. I usually use the 1/8 diffusion for stars but this is turning into a fun filter too. The lens cap and tether is such an awesome addition too.

I recently got the K&F Concept 55mm Black Diffusion 1/8 Filter, and wow, it really takes my photography to the next level! As a beginner photographer, I wasn’t sure how much of a difference a diffusion filter would make, but this one subtly enhances my shots without overdoing it.
