Great tripod. I was surprised by the quality that this has. It is rugged, very sturdy and well made. It extends to a good height. The tripod has height crank and a rotational break. The tilt and pan grip has an expensive and accurate feel. The rotational break is accurate and can be adjusted with a nice soft touch.it mimicks the fluid dampened controls of more expensive tripods very well. Comes with a 2 way mount for phone and an X5. It also has the screw mount. Comes with a nice carry case and a Bluetooth controller for a phone camera. A great buy.

This is a nice little tripod. It's very basic but does what it needs to. It includes a nicely made case and remote shutter so has a lot of value. It's never going to compete with the big boys but for the price it's adequate enough.

PROS
-quite compact when folded
-lightweight
-includes a useful little case
-phone holder and bluetooth trigger accessories
-inexpensive

CONS
-almost all plastic (not particularly robust)
-rubber feet at single angle (do not pivot to deal with differing angled terrain)
-low-end “video” head that cannot be replaced
-proprietary quick release plate (don’t lose it)

NOTES
-this is a decent beginner-tripod for low-level (height-wise) work

MY STAR RATINGS:
1* substandard, mostly cons
2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros
3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros
4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons
5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

This is clearly aimed at the budget end of the market with its £30 price tag, but that end isn't so budget in quality these days.

As mini tripods go, it is okay, but there are a few areas for improvement.

First the good, the legs themselves are aluminium, and they are fairly well-built so they do not flex. They are also fairly light.

When set up, the entire tripod is quite stable, at least for phones or action cams. Even at its maximum height of around 60cm.

The head has a quick release mechanism. Which makes putting the item on easy.

It folds down and stows easily in its bag, making it nice and portable, easy to store along with any other recording/shooting gear.

The problems though, most of the catches are plastic, the ones that hold the legs at the set length, work fine, but they are not the quickest to release. They do hold fine, but being plastic, I wonder how durable they will be.

The head is not replaceable and is pretty much plastic. As a result, the pan on the head isn't really suitable for video panning, it just isn't smooth enough.

I did find the centre column lock/unlock mechanism fiddly to use

A phone attachment is supplied that is functional, this would be a great start, but may need upgrading sooner rather than later.

On the whole, this is fine as a starter tripod for lightweight cameras, it might take a DSLR with a small lens, but it is better suited to smaller cameras and phones.
