Over the recent few months I have been getting increasingly into photography and videography. I have predominantly used my smart phone alongside a gimbal to start and improve the quality of my family videos and photos. Over this period I have also invested in a number of additions such as lights and microphones. Needless to say, on my Christmas list I have asked for an upgrade, a nice big expensive high-quality cameraIn anticipation of getting a new camera I have decided to invest now (whilst I have some spare cash) in accessories that will support me in the New Year. Although I have not yet got my new camera I have been able to make good use of these new items one of which was this quality tripod. The tripod comes well packaged in a fabric case which personally I always think speaks volumes about the quality. The case is slightly padded, to protect the tripod when being stored or transported. The tripod itself folds away very nicely and quite compactly. In order to use the functionalities of the tripod each of the legs foldout 180 degrees and then can extend an exceptionally long amount. I didn’t realise how long these legs would be when I bought this item, the tripod extends higher than me and I am almost 6 foot. When fully set up the tripod is a very sturdy and does not wobble, given that each of the legs can extend to different amounts this is ideal for uneven surfaces. The camera, or Gimble in my case, secures in by screw and there is also a levelling thing (I don’t know the name of them, but it has water in with a bubble to tell you if the camera is level). Finally at the very top is a ball and socket joint which lets you make any final adjustments that you would need to to your photography equipment. The tripod is very, very lightweight. It feels good quality, it looks good quality, and I would go to say, as an amateur, that the tripod feels like a premium product. I think for the price paid it is really good value and I would recommend this to people in a similar position to myself who are looking to buy a tripod.I have added a picture so that potential buyers can see how tall this thing actually is.

Not sure which superlatives to start with…
Amazing seems to sum it up quite well.
Light weight, sturdy, nice (K&F Concepts) orange accents going on.
Doubles as a mono-pod, easily.
Unbelievably smooth ball-head action but when tightened, it’s solid.
Niggle, if there is one… the user instructions are pretty hopeless. However, if you need instructions to operate a tripod then maybe you should buy a cheaper one. That said, 10 mins of playing around with it and you’ll have it sorted and be transforming it from tripod to mono-pod quite deftly.
Overall - amazing (I’ve said it again, because it for the money, it is)

It really is that good. Look at all of the positive reviews for this tripod. It works supremely well. It's incredible. So many positives and no real negatives. The one complaint is that it does have a couple of cheaper looking and feeling plastic latches. But besides that it really is a great piece of equipment. This tripod feels the excellent quality the movement of the legs shows real quality of fabrication. Most importantly when you use it, it feels steady. It's a good weight, it doesn't feel like it will blow over, but it's not too heavy to carry. The 2m height adjustment is a bonus if you want to get some variation on angles and getting the full extension is hassle free and simple.K&F do great products. 100% recommended.Note.The tripod comes backed with 2-year warranty and 210-day money back and product replacement guarantee.

Perfecto ... Being 6'8" in height its ideal no backbreaking stupid tripods. This does it all, folds away nicely. And has a handy sling carrier bag.
Well worth the money!

Review of the K&F Concept KF-28 Tripod. This is my third tripod. Ignoring my first, my previous one was a Giotto MH5011. My first thoughts were less weight in the KF-28 was welcome. My present SLR camera is close to a whopping 1.6kg weight, lens and all, so I am mindful of my overall kit weight. That being noted, my camera is old stock and newer cameras will have a different feel on this rig.The packaging was excellent and the mini-case welcome – I had to buy my previous case separately at some cost. Very pleasant to have the full kit to go, backstrap and handles too. Well done K&F.I liked the black with red flashes design and was pleased to see the bottom hook for stabilizing. I use mine to keep stuff off the ground, or within my workspace in public areas. Just me? The legs handle well and intuitively. Not being one to read manuals (even though this one comes with 4-sided A5 leaflet in English) I twisted and turned knobs until I understood what they did. My only reference need was the base column lock. This is the first ball rig I’ve had hands on. I was looking forward to the angles. My camera was too weighty for my Giotto to handle 90o tilt, or any tilt much. The KF-28, at first, seemed no better. Perhaps my girly hands or just overcaution but I wasn’t tightening the knobs and screws sufficiently. I had to resort to screwing the baseplate to my (hefty) camera with a coin but it all came together in the end. I wouldn’t like to be doing all that on a shoot at night though. Advance learn the equipment, people. At max height it will fill a door frame and in extreme it seems more delicate than it probably is. It will also meet tabletop requirements but as an eye-line type photographer that’s fine with me.At less than half the price of my Giotto, and that was 10 years ago money, I would have welcomed this tripod back then over other name brands. I have a feeling we are going to be good friends for a long time.

It does exactly what I need it to do. It’s lightweight, sturdy and easy to operate. I’ve used it in high winds and water, it surely is a tripod worth investing in. Also, one point to mention; the feet have rubber on thread. Incredible ingenuity for various surfaces that you don’t want to scratch. Or, you can screw them all the way in to enable a spike option for use outside etc.
Happy shooting!
