Camera Neck Strap Camera Shoulder Strap Suitable for DSLR SLR Cameras Strap Urban Wander 05 Deep Blue
SKU: KF13.196V6
I really like this camera strap.
I have been using a variety of cameras over the years and normally the one thing I change about them all was the strap. I find most flat straps uncomfortable to wear and pull on collars of shirts I wear. The round strap has been a huge improvement for me, with a flexible rope design and large diameter it helps to distribute the camera weight well, and the round cross section finds its position on the back of the neck more comfortably than the flat straps do.
Attaching the strap to the camera was quick and easy with the split rings, and the extra material on the ends of the strap helps to reduce the risk of scratching the camera body.
Overall, this is a fantastic sturdy strap for your camera, and I really like it.

Comparing to a no-name camera strap of similar style, I'm not quite sure what to think of this just yet. It's about the same length, but noticeably thicker, so it adds a bit of bulk if storing in a bag. It feels a little softer and stretchier. The protective leather ends are also much softer but feel less durable. The color is a nicer, paler shade of olive versus what I would call a forest green on the other. It's also a little less shiny. Not a huge fan of the brown leather brand tag, but I suppose it gives you an anchor point to attach something if you need, and it's easily (permanently) removable. Overall, seems like a capable strap, but I actually think I prefer the other one I have.

This K&F Concept “climbing rope” camera strap hits a sweet visual note with its clean, minimalist retro style, recalling the elegance of analog-era Pentax and Leica neck straps — but under scrutiny, its tactile and mechanical performance reveal a few caveats.
Material & Feel:
Despite the marketing term “climbing rope,” the actual rope is not dynamic mountaineering cord. It more closely resembles marine halyard line or a dense polyester utility braid — functional and stiff, with impressive tensile strength, but not designed for skin contact. The 9mm diameter offers good grip and presence, but after a few hours around the neck, you’ll start to feel its abrasiveness, especially on bare skin.
This isn’t the plush, fuzzy double-braid polyester often used for premium rope camera straps. There’s zero stretch and no softening — it’s workhorse rigging, not yacht club luxury.
Hardware & Finishing:
Where this strap shines is in its leather and fittings:
The genuine leather end tabs are beautifully cut, saddle-stitched by machine, and finished with spring-style steel rings, compatible with both DSLR lugs and vintage film bodies.
Connection points are neat, heat-finished, and tight — but in a way that makes me want to redo them by hand with saddle thread or waxed linen for both security and aesthetics.
There’s no backing reinforcement on the leather tabs, which leaves the metal rings rubbing bare against the camera lugs. Over time, this may cause wear — to either the leather or your camera.
Structural Concerns:
Make no mistake — the rope will hold. It’s overkill for camera weight. But the leather connections are the weak link. Without reinforced backing or doubled stitching, they may fray or deform under shock load (like a swinging drop).
And while the overall build quality is clean, it’s more style-forward than abuse-proof. If you’re the type who wears your camera across your back while hiking or biking, consider modifying or reinforcing.
Practical Use & Fit:
100cm length is fixed, not adjustable, but works well for over-the-neck or crossbody use on most mirrorless and small DSLRs.
Easily rolls up small — rope is inherently flexible and packable.
No strap pad, so if you're planning all-day use with a heavier body or lens, prepare to feel the pressure.
Final Verdict:
If you’re looking for a classy, well-made camera strap to tinker with or refine, this is a great base. It looks fantastic, is made of legit materials, and suits smaller mirrorless kits or fixed-lens film cameras especially well.
But if you need long-day comfort, structural redundancy, or soft-touch materials, this one’s more of a canvas for improvements than a finished product.
Recommended for casual shooters, DIY modders, or those who want to look sharp at a photowalk without needing expedition-grade durability.

I do photography as a hobby and I purchased a professional cannon camera. The strap that came with it was OK but not amazing. I wanted something sturdy and solid for a round my neck as I was always feeling like the original strap would break.
I love this strap! It's literally a mini heavy rope, like a rock climbing or tactical style. I got the army green and the color is amazing. Not cheap looking or cheap feeling for under $20. I have been using it, so im hopeful in the long term it will hold up, but the strength of the rope is fantastic and I'm sure the long term it will hold up but we will see.
It's comfortable feeling around the neck and does not irritated my skin. Its pretty soft in fact. I can't know for sure if this rope will start fraying over long term use, but so far so good.

Currently using this on my Sony A7RV whilst on a city break around Frankfurt. The strap itself is well made and feels really strong, definitely instills some confidence when hanging your camera from it.
The only thing I've found that's a down side is the rope can feel a little harsh and abrasive around the back of the neck. If you're wearing a hoody and have that layer, it's fine though, but against bare skin it gets irritating very quickly.

This K&F Concept Camera Neck Strap is a great little gadget for any photography enthusiast. Made from sturdy nylon climbing rope, it's a 100cm length of solid craftsmanship that feels more high-quality than its £9.99 price tag implies. The smart feature is the stretchy rope, providing just a bit of flexibility so it doesn’t dig into your neck after a long day of carrying your DSLR around.
Although it doesn't include shoulder padding, the small leather patch adds a touch of elegance and stays in place well. This is particularly useful for my lighter Sony mirrorless camera, but might be challenging to attach to cameras with bigger mounts. It’s also not the most compact accessory for a camera bag, due to its relatively inflexible design.
All in all, this is a reliable and stylish strap, offering good value for money if it fits your equipment and you don't mind a little extra bulk in your bag. Ideal for those looking for both functionality and a bit of style.

Im surprise how good it is for under a tenner. I bought it to use on mY contax G2, but I think will start using it on my other cameras.

This camera strap feels solid and well-made right from the start. The nylon climbing rope design adds a nice rugged touch, and it’s surprisingly comfy around the neck even during long shoots. At 100cm, it’s just the right length for easy handling and quick access to the camera.
It fits both micro single and DSLR cameras perfectly, giving a secure hold without feeling bulky. Whether hiking, exploring, or just everyday use, this strap keeps the camera safe and close without getting in the way.

If you want a sturdy camera strap, this is the one for you. If you want something comfortable to wear all day...this might not be your best option. The strap feels like rope with a a little bit of give. While the give is nice in that it keeps the weight from being too oppressive the strap itself could use some softer material in the middle for the neck. I would love to see this strap with a soft sleeve for the middle. That would really reduce the friction this exerts on my neck and make it much more comfortable. Other than the comfort though, this is great. Well made, rugged, strong, just enough give, and it looks pretty cool too if the urban style is one you like.
