I recently purchased this to use my canon lenses on my Sony a6300. I primarily bought it to use my 50mm on it but it doesn't work. This is due to the 50mm having an electronic motor focusing system that means it can't be found through the adapter. However, I tried my 14mm Samyang and that works perfectly. The manual focus works as it should, as with my 75-300mm zoom lens that works perfectly too. I guess it's just something to do with the electronics on some lenses, so be careful before you buy, just a heads up!Otherwise, very happy with the product, sturdy, metal and no play within lens contact.

It mentions that is't not compatible with the Sony A7R II, however it works perfectly on mine! Well worth the money, to open up the possibilities of using so many other lenses.

Great bit of kit, allowed me to use some old lenses given to me with my modern sony camera. No automatic focus, but I didn't expect that anyway.

Quality is fantastic, mounts feel very secure.I use this to attach my Canon 50mm 1.8 onto my Sony A7S II. Obviously focus is all manual, but with the A7S II's focus peaking system I actually like nailing in my focus manually for a change.Something to note is that if you do have a lens like the 50mm 1.8 which does not have an aperture ring, like some vintage lenses you see may have, you will have to set your aperture on a canon DSLR first and then attach it to your other camera system. This means if you plan on changing aperture on a shoot you'll have to bring along your canon camera. Personally, I just leave mine wide open at 1.8 because if I'm using that lens it's because I'm looking for that depth of field.

Bought for use on my Sony A7R with 3rd party manual lenses & it works great. Feels well made & fits to both the lens & camera body smoothly & looks more expensive. I would highly recommend this product.

You can`t go wrong with this adapter, especially considering it`s price. I`m using it on the Sony a7.+ Allows infinity focus+ Great build quality+ No wiggle, fits perfectly+ Cheap- You can`t use AF (I was aware of this, the automatic ones are at least 5 times more expensive)- Reflection on some photos: as the inside of the adapter reflects some light onto the sensor, causing ghosting (there are tips online how to prevent this)Overall I`m happy with the adapter. Get some cheap old lens and save yourself some £££.

The adapter I received has a big issue - the black paint they use on the inside of the adapter is shiny which causes reflections and lens flares and a subsequent loss of contrast. The paint should be a flat matt black to stop this. Such a pity as the adapter is well made and well priced.
