67mm Spiral Halo Camera Lens Filter Premium Optical Glass Halo Swirl Special Effect Filter Nano-B Series

This filter from brand K&F CONCEPT creates an absurd but fun halo whirlpool effect. It is terribly silly, but not in any way terrible as a rule, it is really just for unique portraiture circumstances.

I ordered mine in a 67mm thread for my 16mm f 1.4 lens for Fujifilm APS-C cameras. It is beautifully well made, as is every product I have ordered before from the K&F CONCEPT brand.

Happy to have this filter in my collection for unique-use scenarios, but it's definitely not for every photographer. 4 stars.

K&F Concept é famosa per la produzione di accessori fotografici a basso prezzo. Quello in questione é un filtro molto particolare che consente di sfocare i bordi della foto avendo un’area di messa a fuoco minima nella zona centrale. Si tratta di un filtro interessante per creare dei ritratti ricreativi. L’effetto finale é ad “obló di nave”, con una sfocatura circolare ai bordi. Personalmente credo che la sfocatura sia un po troppo marcata… avrei preferito fosse piú lieve sinceramente.

Per il resto ho ben poco da dire sul prodotto… la qualitá costruttiva mi ha convinto, il filtro é robusto e ben realizzato… nulla da dire su questo aspetto. Bisogna solamente sperimentare ora!

There are a variety of factors which will determine whether you're gonna get decent results from this filter; get it wrong and the photo will be bland but get it right and you can get a pretty awesome looking photo!

I have used this filter both properly (attaching it onto my lens) and also just holding it infront of my phone camera.

I personally found results to be better when zoomed in, so that was 'x2' when using it Infront of my phone and 70mm on my camera lens. In-addition, an interesting backdrop or backlighting will go a long way.

This filter is made very well. It is heavy and it looks like a magnifying glass. It has a thread so it can be mounted directly to any lens that matches its thread size. As far as the quality, I would say this is very subjective and I think this would depend on preference. I can see myself using this occasionally for maybe a gym shoot or something where I wanted the audience to fill unsteady or dizzy for a shot or 2 combined with regular footage… The filter is nice though, because it would be easier to create this effect with the filter instead of in post production. This filter wouldn’t be every day use use you would need this for a particular clip or photo. For what you get, I definitely think it’s worth having your camera bag in case you need it.

Ce filtre halo fonctionne sans problèmes: il se visse bien sur l'objectif et est vendu dans une boîte avec une mousse qui le tient bien comme il faut !
L'impact du halo est légèrement controllable avec l'ouverture de l'objectif: plus le diaphragme est fermé et plus l'effet "tunnel" est marqué, et il s'adoucit quand on rouvre le diaphragme. À part cela c'est vraiment la disposition des lumières et la composition qui vont permettre de jouer avec l'effet.
Donc rien à signaler, c'est toujours la qualité K&F Concept à un prix raisonnable !

SE trata de un filtro de formato SLIM (ultrafino ) de medida 82mm , (normalmente Utilizada en Objetivos zoom focal variable angulares a Teles medios con luminosidad alta, o en Teleobjetivos de formato completo con bloque 1ª lente grande ) está realizado con chasis de aleación aluminio o similar, con un estriado de ondulaciones en dos zonas del para facilitar el agarre de apriete y afloje , y con un filtro multicapa con recubrimiento exterior NANO-X , para protección de lluvias, y que las gotas queden repelidas del cristal en la zona exterior. Este en concreto es un modelo que se denomina difusión blanca que suaviza los contornos de la cara en retratos con un ligero halo y una ligera pérdida de contraste y de definición de contornos, lo que se denomina " Imagenes blandas ", es un efecto que por lo que he estado probando no funciona demasiado en Objetos con pocas definiciones de contrastes y que en personas depende mucho de la cantidad de luz ambiental y la incidencia de esta sobre la persona retratada para que el efecto sea más o menos apreciable. Personalmente prefiero que el efecto sea así, leve y también controlable con el juego de luces , ya que un efecto mayor de este estilo al final se siente más como una falta de calidad de definición del objetivo que como un efecto buscado.
He intentado hacer una correlación de fotografías con y sin filtro para que se pueda apreciar el efecto de ligera pérdida de definición, contornos y contraste (imágenes "más blandas " )con el filtro en las segundas fotos de cada imagen de la serie, este efecto también disimula marcas, ligeras arrugas o granos de la piel .
Mi valoración para este filtro con las prestaciones que aporta y la calidad de sus materiales y embalaje de protección original de K&F , respecto de su precio de venta que me parece bastante elevado respecto de otros modelos de filtros de gamas parecidas de la misma marca . he decidido que sea por tanto de :
" 4 ESTRELLAS " = [ * * * * ] .

This definitely isn't a filter I plan on running very much, but it does produce a very interesting swirl effect. As always with K&F products, I'm impressed by the clarity of the glass and the quality of the packaging. I've owned over a dozen lens filters from them, and not one has disappointed.

Filtre effet spirale, c'est à dire quand on ferme le diaphragme on obtient un genre d'effet tunnel. C'est plutot sympa, le filtre lui est bien emballé, il est rangé dans une boite avec de la mousse.
très bien les produits de cette marque sont plutôt bon dans l'ensemble.
On visse le filtre au bout de son objectif.
Ce n'est pas un filtre pour tous le monde et aussi il a un certain cout.

This is definitely a specialty filter. I don't expect to win any awards with it, but it's fun and well worth the money. If you're just looking for something to experiment with and expand your creativity then I would say to go ahead and get it as the price of entry is reasonable.

It is really heavy which is to be expected with the design, but just something to be aware of.

I do wish it had a more blurred or bokeh-y transition. It's really sharp/defined, and in my opinion, detracts from the image. I do need to experiment with it and use its "weakness" to my advantage.

Arrivato ben confezionato e sigillato. Oggetto molto ben fatto, in vetro ottico, quindi anche conforme a quanto descritto. Logicamente essendo un filtro fotografico con una deformazione da controllare, va adoperato quando serve e con aperture di diaframma molto aperta per non rendere visibile il bordo del foro centrale. Ritendo il suo utilizzo molto idoneo alla ritrattistica con obbiettivi tele e medio tele ed aperture diaframma massime f/1,4- 1,7- 2,8. un buon filtro per divertirsi e ottenere effetti molto interessanti in macchina senza bisogno di adoperare programmi di fotoritocco.
