As a professional photographer, I'm always looking for reliable supports for my filming and preparation. This model from K&F Concept immediately inspired my confidence. Delivered in simple but neat and eco-friendly cardboard packaging, it comes with all the necessary accessories to mount both a camera and a smartphone.

The quality of the materials is impeccable: once the clamp is attached to the desk, nothing moves, even with a heavy DSLR equipped with a large lens. The column adjusts easily in height and doesn't drop a millimeter once tightened. The included ball head is compact and sufficient for most uses, although for very fluid movements, I sometimes opt for a higher-end ball head.

For videos at desk height, streaming, or stable indoor shots, this mount is really well designed. It's a solid product, offering excellent value for money.

This desktop mount with removable ball joint looks sturdy, and it is. The whole thing is made of metal and aluminum. It comes with several adapters. Once properly secured, it doesn't move at all.

It's a great product for filming, photography, or mounting a lamp or smartphone. Once all the components are properly tightened, the whole thing remains perfectly stable.

The height is adjustable up to 1 meter and a minimum of around 50 cm.

These qualities make it a serious mount, well above anything I've seen in this range. It's compatible with many possible configurations.

The mounting clamp itself is screwed on using a wide and very sturdy axle.

"I've been using this K&F Concept table stand for a few days now, and so far, I can say it's very sturdy. I'm impressed with the durability of the phone clamp: it holds my phone well without feeling like it's about to slip. And the 360° ball head is convenient: I can orient the device to any position with a single movement.

Assembly is simple, and the height adjustment between 37 and 102 cm makes it suitable for both video recording and streaming from my desktop.

That said, I do note a few small limitations: some elements are made of plastic, and while well-finished, I suspect they might show signs of wear over time if used frequently.

I don't notice any other issues at the moment, but assessing any long-term effects (such as wear or looseness) takes time. I've only been using it for a short time, so I prefer to wait before drawing any conclusions. If an update is available in a few months, I'll gladly add it.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a stand. Solid, versatile, and well-priced, as long as you understand that it's not a professional product. For everyday or amateur use, it seems like a smart and practical choice.

Very stable and high-quality mount!
I use it primarily to perfectly position my smartphone or even a camera during online meetings. Especially when it comes to a professional impression, good image quality makes a huge difference – and with this mount, I can precisely adjust the viewing angle. And I never want to screw an expensive camera onto a cheap-looking tripod.

The construction seems robust; nothing wobbles or feels cheap. Thanks to the flexible height adjustment and the movable head, I can position the camera exactly as I need it. Even during longer meetings, everything stays securely and firmly in place.

For me, it's an absolutely worthwhile tool.

It has a switchable 1/4" or 3/8" screw, making it convenient for a variety of uses.
The bottom of the pole has a 3/8" female screw, and the top has a 1/4" male screw.
The telescopic pole is lightweight, and can be securely fixed in place by simply folding the pole clip.
It comes with a clamp for attaching to a desk, but it can also be attached to a super clamp or similar, making it versatile and convenient.
The texture is nice and there are plenty of attachments, making it a great item to have on hand.

With this mount, I hung my smartphone at a comfortable height for hands-free use (for viewing and calling) and for shooting video on a table.
I find this stand does what it's designed to do very well!

What I like:
In the box, there's everything you need to attach your smartphone (smartphone not included in the kit): clamp, stand, and grip (the accessory for holding the smartphone). The whole thing is simple and compact. The height of the stand is adjustable.
Soft plastic in the clamp elements protects surfaces.
The smartphone grip is functional.
The accessory has a ball system (for orienting the device) and its standard camera mounting thread.
The mount's fairly wide gap.
The quality and robustness seem to be there (metal rods and support).
Versatility: The included accessories allow it to be used for devices other than smartphones.

Practical detail: this stand is a vertical stand. The height is extendable and adjustable. The degrees of freedom for the orientation of the fixed device are those of the accessory with ball.

I have tried desk mounts before and found them to be too flimsy, but this K&F concept seems to be the exception. It's pretty solid when set to its lowest height. The foundation is rock solid, and the first section sits well on the desk. The ballhead includes is very basic, but it was able to hold my aps-c dslr with a pancake lens, which would be perfect for some video work. It would also easily hold anything lighter and smaller, like led lights, action and compact cameras. Wobble was introduced however as soon as I opened the other sections of the stand. It would still be okay tor light and microphones, but mounting a camera in my opinion would have an effect on the workflow. It's still doable but requires slowing down. If space is minimal I would use this, but if space is not an issue I'd just use tripod instead. This is a lot more portable and lightweight though. The other limiting factor can be the minimum height. It's 41cm from the desk at the lowest setting and ball head attaced. On top ot this comes the camera, this could be to tall in some scenarios so it's best to keep in mind when lower angles are needed. I like that the kit comes with a phone clamp, 3/8 - 1/4" thread adapter and a spigot for light mounting. I think for £31 this is a decent kit, lightweight and versatile and for some it might be the only thing they need.
