A really nice, compact 2-in-1 set for your iPhone
This K&F Concept Phone Tripod, Selfie Stick for iPhone is great for a portable, on-the-go tripod and works just as well for profit shoots.
I do small table set ups and find that it works - though the tripod height isn't that high, so this type of use is limited. That said, it's a great go-to for when you want to grab that selfie, video or podcast, or simply want to void unsteady photos. The tripod unit itself is a pretty lightweight piece. When you add just one of the three head types (for iPhone, Go Pro, or DSLR) you will notice the uptick in weight, but nothing bad. It is when you get the actual camera on that you feel the weight shift - of course.
In our case, we use covers/cases on the iPhone for protection and would rather not remove that (see photos) Additionally we have PopSockets on, so that too adds room taken up on the back. The PopSocket cannot be removed, so we have to adjust the camera's location on the tripod and as you can see in the photos, that sets it very low on the holder. So far this has not been an issue - We'd take the case off if we needed to adjust that - but keep in mind that while a case/cover is not an issue for setting into the holder, be aware other things attached to your iPhone might get in the way.
The tripod itself is well made and the materials seem sturdy and strong - meaning there is longevity here if taken care of. I like how it stands, the pull out/in on the legs is a little tight, but you want it that way or it'll be falling open when you don't want. And holding it as. hand grip is great - again taking note of the weight of the iPhone on/off the handle.
That leaves the Selfie Stick. Well hidden in the handle of the tripod, the selfie stick is an antenna type or telescoping. That is one that you pull the end up and out of the handle for a great length - at least for us. Here you're really going to notice that weight and any shift off the center of gravity for that weight based on where you place the iPhone into the holder. We are not selfie stick people, but we would have to remove that case in order to have it placed right for balance (see photos).
Honestly, overall this is a great set. The K&F Concept Phone Tripod, Selfie Stick for iPhone offers a well made product with good materials, well designed for everyday use, and gives you a few options for type of camera. The weight of the tripod is really very good, but it's in the added weight from your camera that will alter the weight and distribution of weight. But overall we really like this K&F Concept Phone Tripod, Selfie Stick for iPhone and have every intention of using it often.
