Screen protector is good. The lens protector is bad.
The screen protector is almost a necessity with devices like this, but the lens protector is just plain daft.
First thing to consider is, once the lens protector is on, it's a proper pain to remove - I had to use the thinnest of razor blades to nerve-rackingly prise mine out. I would have kept it attached, if it was not for the following:
1. While it will protect the lens, it will also create a bloom effect around any lights you film at night - but not a nice bloom like a black mist filter, this is more of a distorted and badly angled glow that just looks annoying and ruins the video.
2. If you use the lens protector you cannot add the wide-angle adapter or any other filter.
