Just fine for GoPro
Wanted a way to slap a GoPro on a vehicle; this mount does the trick. The magnet is definitely strong enough to support the weight of a GoPro 9 and its cage, but removes easily enough thanks to the rubber cover on the magnetic section. As with all the K&F equipment I have, all of the materials and finishes feel really nice and are typically long lasting.
There is one weird design choice, though not one that will impact me as I don't plan on using this for my phone anytime soon. To use the phone holder, one slides the holder section to the side until it flips upright, which would hold the phone perpendicular to the magnet surface in portrait orientation. There is a way to rotate the ball head to place the phone parallel to the surface, but it's awkward. You'd think you'd just be able to put the phone on and have the magnet centered behind the phone, not offset. Again, not an issue so much as just a weird design decision.
