Excellent VND filter with premium build & optics
I love K&F gear and already use their magnetic Nano-X system on my Sony A7IV. For quick shoots in the sun where I don’t want to carry the whole magnetic kit, I picked up this 67mm variable ND and it doesn’t disappoint. The optics are excellent, with smooth adjustment from ND2–32 (1–5 stops), and the aluminum ring with the orange slider makes it easy to dial in the right setting without fuss.
What really stood out is the included case — slim, sturdy, and perfect for tossing 1–2 filters inside (I use a microfiber cloth as a divider). It’s a smart design that makes carrying filters simple when traveling light.
My only gripe is the pricing strategy. At $115 it feels steep, especially since it’s often discounted to around $80. That said, the build quality, coatings, and true color performance live up to K&F’s reputation. If you want a reliable VND filter with excellent image quality, this is a great choice.
