There are a whole load of monoculars on the market at the moment all at a similar price point. The Runprism is an excellent piece of kit which I would recommend.I really could not get the phone attachment to attach properly. There are no instructions to suggest how you are supposed to do that and it comes with a flimsy tripod thing and a plastic phone holder. I did not get the monocular for that so I am not too bothered. That aside, this is a superb bit of kit. I wanted to look at birds, the moon and generally the surroundings. The focus dial is at the top so you can hold it in your dominant hand and focus easily one handed with your index finger. I wear glasses so you look straight through. If you don't have glasses, you can turn the eyepiece which telescopes out a little to make your view more full. The lenses are of good quality and all the optics seem to have an antireflective coating which is great. It is lightweight but sturdy. The objective lens cover is attached so you can't lose it. The eyepiece lens-cover is not attached so you could easily lose it - a bit of a design fault. It comes with a strap and I have attached the eyepiece lenscap to the strap hole so that is problem solved. The resolution is great. I was on holiday in Devon until yesterday. Great for looking at surrounding wildlife. Craters on the moon are clearly visible. I am really pleased with it.For a £30 price tag, I think you are getting excellent value for money. Recommended

A little complicated to set but once you get the hang of it this is an awesome bit of kit it’s very sensitive and is pretty much stealth to humans as well as animals ..

This monocular telescope is compact and lightweight with an easy to set up design including the phone holder. It is well made and is a good quality monocular but there are certainly better models out there with stronger and clearer magnification. I think for the price it could be better so I have given this 4 stars.I hope you find this review helpful.

I really couldn't get on with this product. I wanted it for bird watching and star gazing but it let me down badly. The only instructions of you can call them that just tells you how to get the lens cap off and how to turn the focus button. I went onto The product page to see how to use it with my mobile phone because I thought that once it was attached you could take some really good pictures with it but again was let down. For £29.99 I think it's wasted money. I think I'll have to research on some internet pages to see how I can get the best out of this product. I'm really disappointed to be honest because I was really looking forward to seeing some great photography from my phone. You can see a very long distance with this but it's only doing half the job it's meant to do.

I love this Monocular much more than my Binoculars and find this Monocular very easy to use and focus and lock in on my target and focus! Very nice quality and come complete with covers for both sides to protect the lenses and also come complete with a velvet like material bag to protect the body! This lives in the door of the car for those long Sunday drives over the Pennines national park for spotting some of the incredible wildlife! Very Impressed with this monocular!

I got this for watching the foxes that often poss by my home early morning and also for taking photos of the moon. I found it easy to operate just adjust the wheel to change magnification. It comes with a tripod which is useful when I pop it on my windowsill to watch the foxes. It also comes with attached lense caps which I liked as it stops the lender getting scratched and a bag and cloth. It's perfect for what I wanted it for and at a fair price.

For the price is really a good monocular. The view is quite clear but is hard to keep it steady.
