I've had more expensive ball heads, all of which were somehow in the bucket after a while. The head here is easy to adjust and isn't really expensive. I don't need any more.

After my tripod fell over while taking pictures outside and, of course, fell exactly on the ball joint, I quickly need a new one. I am positively surprised by the high processing quality of this tripod head and can definitely recommend it!

As a straight line ball head mounting piece, this is very well made and everything about it says it is a quality product. It works exactly the way it should and I get a lot of use of it, it turns nicely on the rotating collar, is very smooth and not sloppy at all. You can immediately undo the lock button and it won't suddenly loosen and lose the position you were in - it still spins very slowly .. positive hold (in a horizontal position).
