I'm glad that I have chosen kf concept.
First of all, the legs are carbon fiber, which is more expensive than aluminum. The parts and components are well-machined, and I don't see any defects in the manufacturing process. Everything fits together well, moves smoothly, and is rock solid when tightened.
When you need a tripod in this height and size range, you can count on this one to do the job for you, take a beating, and last a long time. A nice cinch bag is included.

I’ve had a lot of tripods over the years. Never seemed to find one I liked best. Until I found this. It’s perfect. There’s so many he right options, the feet bevel giving you options to use it on completely uneven ground, oh did I mention it has a built in level to help make sure you’re even perfectly level too?? It’s amazing. I have really bad hand tremors, and they only have been getting, worse so it’s made photography (which is one of my favorite passions) extremely hard to do these days. And as cheesy as it sounds this tripod really did help bring that back for me.

Carbon Fiber Tripods allow you to focus on the work and the ART of photos
Lightweight and super strong construction
Telescoping poles adjust to any height
I like getting super tall tripods so I don't have to worry about height!
The case is SUPER thick and hit the tripod perfectly. Really impressed with the durable nylon, zipper, and thick carrying strap.

Great carbon fiber tripod, It does support weight well, I have about 10lb test on it for testing. I don't have a camera yet so haven't been able to test with the camera and move it around for shots but I did put a 10lb test bag on it and it holds it well even with full extension. I like the fact it has a bag and it's easy to fold up and put in the bag for transport. The bag is soft padded so it can protect the tripod a bit also. The strap doesn't have anything to make it comfortable to carry so I am glad that I won't be carrying it anywhere anytime soon, but thankfully it is light so maybe that is why the carry strap isn't padded. Maybe with the bag, I get more satisfied with the price of this as most tripods I've gotten or seen do not come with a bag at all.

A nice versatile camera tripod that allows camera stabilization in almost any position. The adjustment for height is simple and allows for easy leveling on uneven ground. The tripod has a big enough footprint to be stable yet is a reasonable size, so it is not constantly in the way.

The ball system allows the camera to be moved in a 360-degree sweep and point straight up and down. Bulky cameras may not be able to achieve straight up and down due to camera parts getting in the way, but most cameras can do so.

The tripod is a bit on the heavy side but is much more stable than many lighter tripods. It appears durable and should last for several years of even rough use. The ability to convert to a monopod is helpful in some outdoor applications, and it is nice to be able to interchange between the two modes with minimal fuss and without having to buy two systems.

The handy soft-sided carrying case is well designed and durable. The tripod is easy to return to the case, but there is not much extra room for storing additional items. It provides good protection for the tripod from scraping, etc., but it is soft-sided, so it will not prevent damage if heavy objects end up on top of it or it gets bent.

Overall a nice camera tripod that should give many years of use.

This tripod just blows my mind on how this one works and the quality on how its made.
first it's made from carbon fiber that makes it really light. The carbon fiber also makes it stronger than my other one, The shape of the legs are round and if you know round pipes they are strong.

This is lightweight and seems to be built well. Could be a little taller, especially the single removeable leg. Overall good, would buy again.

I've been using this kf concept tripod for about a month now. Man, I love this tripod! It's lighter, cheaper. The only thing I liked better about the Benro was that the legs seemed faster, but I have a feeling these guys will probably see this review and consider making some adjustments there. It's just that you need more turns to loosen/tighten the legs. Not a huge deal but a faster tripod is more of pleasure to use. Everything was kind of stiff at first but it's all nice and fluid now. Nice and sturdy even in windy conditions. I love it and recommend it.

The tripod is two pounds lighter than the one I had been using and much shorter when collapsed. I really like that! However, when I tilt the camera head towards the locking nut, there can be interference with the base of the quick release plate. I've discovered that you can pull out the spring loaded handle to reset its location but there are two issues with doing that. 1. Its tedious and with my big hands, hard to get in there, and; 2. I'm right handed and it seems like the handle was placed on the wrong side. I have to work it with my left hand. Turning the camera around to swing the handle to the right puts it ahead of the camera where it's difficult to see, not to mention that the ball slot (used to clear the ball stem and tilt the camera forward) is now at the back of the camera. Pretty much useless there unless you take photos of the sky. I considered swapping out the Manfrotto ball head from my other tripod as it has the tightening handle at the rear, easily accessible but I felt like I would lose the weight advantage. So, I probably wouldn't have bought this if I had know how inconveniently placed all the control/tightening handles were, but again, I do like the weight savings.

WEEKS LATER: After using this tripod for awhile I’m getting used to avoiding the design issues that caused the interference. However as a product designer myself I recognize that “workaround” should not be in a design engineers vocabulary. K&F contacted me and told me they have discussed the design issues with the team. As a result I’ve added a star to the rating.
