I have tested this “K&F Concept Nano-X PRO ND Filter 67mm Variable Neutral Density Filter ND2-32 (1-5 Stop)” extensively with my two 67mm Sony lenses (85mm + 24mm focal length) and would like to share my experiences today: I find

the packaging of the filter appealing, because “K&F” has packaged this “Pro” filter in a very high-quality way. You will receive a bag with leather parts, which is softly lined on the inside and is used to store the filter. In addition, an extra packed cleaning cloth is included. The bag has a magnetic closure and is very well made all around.

The filter itself is also very well made, it has a brass frame, on which the markings of the individual “stops” from 1-5 are easy to read. Turning the filter is easy but not too easy either. I also find it nice that 2 “handles” have been installed to rotate or adjust the filter, which makes adjustment even easier and more convenient. There are no resistors at the individual stops, so you have to look carefully at where you turn the filter. Especially at Stops 4 and 5, there isn't much space left in between, which requires a closer look. The individual stops also mark the aperture levels that you reduce with this filter. If you select Stop 3, for example, you reduce the incidence of light by 3 stops, which allows you to achieve beautiful results with longer exposure times, especially in landscape photography. But such a variable ND filter is also useful in videography in order to be able to react to different light effects without changing individual filters.

The variable filter can be easily screwed onto my two lenses. The filter also doesn't add too much weight to the lens. The filter has a 36-fold nano coating on both sides, making it waterproof, dirt-proof and scratch-resistant. The coating makes the filter robust and I assume that this makes it durable and that I can shoot or film with it for a long time.

I've already been shooting in the landscape with the filter, I'm very satisfied with the image quality. I didn't notice any optical effects from using the filter, not even with my 24mm wide angle lens.

I can recommend the “K&F Concept Nano-X PRO ND Filter 67mm Variable Neutral Density Filter ND2-32 (1-5 Stop)”

ND filters (neutral density filters) are basically used to darken the image. It is important here that the light spectrum is not distorted too much in one direction. K&F did a really good job of implementing this. I own several filters and other K&F products. The quality is absolutely top even when it comes to filters in the low-price segment.
I tried this filter with a 67 mm thread with a Nikon Z30. The fit on the lens is of course really good. The intensity of the neutral density filter can be adjusted by turning it. It happens very smoothly and there is no scratching noise. The handles, which protect the lens when you adjust the filter, are very nice.
I tested this filter in November. In my residential area, you rarely catch a day that is not cloudy and fog-free at this time of year. Unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to take good pictures outdoors. My assessment is nevertheless convincing so far.

I give this well-thought-out product a full 5 stars. Here, the filter was also given a really good cover.

I've known K&F for a while now and have one or the other product from them (UV filter and camera backpack). Here, the brand was always technically good for me and was more in the middle price segment.
But now they want to know and are moving into the high-class sector.

An ND filter reduces incoming light. With this variable from ND2 to ND32. This makes it ideal for long exposures and to “artificially” extend them. Especially when moving processes such as rivers, waterfalls, road traffic and others, beautiful soft courses can be achieved.

The filter comes beautifully packaged and is really fun to unpack. If you love unboxing, this is the place for you.
The filter comes in a fabric/leather bag. Very nice in itself, but in my opinion a filter fits richer in the well-known plastic cases.
The inside of the packaging can be converted into a “picture frame”. Jokes idea but I think there are better ones.

But let's get to the filter itself. Here I have to say that the performance matches the price. Clean processing, both on the filter thread, ring and glass.
The filter is easy and easy to unscrew and remove again, which is no comparison to cheap filters.
The glass is of the best quality and its optical performance is indistinguishable from other ND filters from well-known competitors.
This gives you uniform darkening over the entire image and levels without loss of quality or any color strokes.

In summary, this is a very good filter in terms of its quality and optical performance. It has weak points in the somewhat loose fixation in the storage bag.

What I personally miss is rest steps so you know where you are right now.
I'm a bit divided in two when it comes to the price. The quality of the filter corresponds to the price, but I don't know whether I would buy it. Because for the price, you can buy a rectangular filter with suspension and corresponding filter.
I also find the range from ND2 to ND32 a bit unfavorable as it is quite little. But that is my personal opinion and, of course, it always depends on the user.
K&F now also in the high-class segment, first-class optical quality but also very expensive K&F now also in the high-class segment, first-class optical quality but also very expensive K&F now also in the high-class segment, first-class optical quality but also very expensive

I already have a few filters at home, including the K&F Concept Nano-X ND Filter 77mm Variable Grey Filter ND2-32 for 75 euros, which I use on my wide angle, e.g. in bright sunshine (for open glare shots) and for long exposures, and it's really good.

Now I was able to test the variable ND filter from K&F's PRO series, a filter for just under 280 euros. Of course, if you are already working with filters, you should also use high-quality glass on a high-quality lens, but a filter for just under 280 euros is not a cardboard stick and this investment should be well considered. What I can definitely say is that the filter is at the top not only in terms of price level but also in terms of performance and workmanship.

It starts with the presentation (packaging) of this filter, cleanly finished bag with magnetic lid, suede appliqués, soft and lint-free lined interior, a sideways strap with which the filter is moved upwards by pull.
The filter itself is extremely well made and can also be operated with the two brass noses.
It has a very pleasant resistance when adjusted, not too heavy and not too light.
The glass shows no flaws and the threads are also cut absolutely cleanly.
As for image quality/performance, I can only say: TOP!
There are no color errors/color tint or anything else negative here. I can therefore also work with my lens with an open aperture in bright sunshine and, if I like, take long exposures with the help of the filter with a slightly closed aperture.
As I said, image quality is as good as if I had no filter on my lens at all and that's the way it must be.
The pictures I uploaded (undemanding test shots) were taken with an open aperture and against the sun.

My conclusion about this filter:
Very high-quality processing/error-free picture/excellent feel. Price very high
It is now up to everyone to decide for themselves whether such an investment is an option.

The “K&F Concept Nano-X PRO ND Filter 77mm Variable Grey Filter ND2-32 (1-5 Stop) Neutral Grey Filter” comes in original packaging.

✅ The workmanship is very high-quality to match the filter AND has a sustainable idea + implementation. The interior can be used as a picture frame, which I think is very successful.

✅ The filter comes packed in a very sturdy leather case. A wrist strap is sewn in so you could easily wear it on your wrist if you wanted to. A microfiber cloth is also included.

✅ The filter itself is really high-quality and feels the same. A sturdy and good metal frame with a decent feel. However, there is no circumferential structure compared to the K&F ND1000, but there are two small handles.

✅ The variable gray filter darkens the image by 1-5 stops, which is okay, but is almost too low for long exposures. I was also allowed to test the ND1000 filter, which fixed 10 levels of glare, which makes a very big difference. I did not notice any aberrations or an uneven course.

✅/⚪ There is a final stop for each ND2 and ND32, which I think is successful. Unfortunately, there is no haptic feedback once you've reached an aperture level. That would certainly have made a lot of sense.

⚪ What I would also have liked is a sturdy box in the carrying bag. As good and attractive as the leather case is made, it does not protect the filter against dust and external forces. Especially with such a price-intensive filter, you shouldn't skimp on it.

Overall, a really high-quality filter for a corresponding price of just under 300 EUR. It remains to be seen whether you want and must spend that much. I'm missing a small box and the price could also be lower compared to the K&F ND1000 - variability or not - which is why I give a solid 4 stars overall if you have the appropriate budget in the postage cash and get by with the 5 f-stops.

I've broken down my review for you and them into reason for purchase, first impression, product test, suggestions for improvement, tips and conclusion. I hope this helps with clarity.

I received the product free of charge as a Vine product tester, but this has no effect on my review. I also only test things that I can usefully use myself and integrate into my everyday life.

Reason for purchase:
I ordered this filter for 2 reasons. The first reason is that if I only want to travel with light luggage, I don't want to bring my entire plug-in filter system with me. The second is that I can use it well in videography, where I usually film according to the 180 degree rule. This means that in order to obtain a cinematic video image with a certain amount of motion blur in the individual frame, you film with a shutter speed of 1/fps x 2, for example, I film at 50fps, so I need an exposure time of 1/100s, which is not possible without an ND filter, especially in the wide angle range when the sun is shining.

First impression:
The packaging looks very classy, but she is also welcome to do that, given the price that is called for the filter. The filter is in an equally pretty and high-quality filter bag, which I have never seen in this form with round filters before. With the tab on the side, you can lift the filter to prevent accidental contact with the glass when removed. The closure of the bag is magnetic. A nice gimmick is that the cardboard packaging of the filter can be transformed into a small picture frame.

Product test:
The filter is a dream to the touch, heavy (91g) and easy to grip, I also really like the contrasting adjustment aids. These can also be removed if you want to continue using a lens hood. This requires a small microtorx, e.g. from a precision engineering kit. When the filter is adjusted, it is buttery smooth across all stages.

In the test, the filter shows no weaknesses. As a result, I could not detect any color cast and there was no X-Cross effect. The promised effect of up to 5 aperture levels is maintained. Technically perfect and that is the most important aspect of an ND filter.

Suggestions for improvement:
1. The sustainability aspect, as taken up when using cardboard as a picture frame, could also be reflected in the filter bag by avoiding the use of animal products (leather).
2. An 82mm variant would be desirable and recommended, then the filter could also be used on (m) a 24-70mm/2.8, for example.

Tips:
It is always advisable to buy such a filter in the largest possible diameter so that you can adapt it to as many lenses as possible in your own fleet using step-down rings. Of course, this also eliminates the option of continuing to use a sun visor.

Conclusion:
Technically perfect filter in the upmarket price segment.

I hope my review was helpful in your decision making

K&F filters are usually unbeatable in terms of value for money, and this filter is no different. I use it on a Sony 18-105 f/4 and it’s never let me down.

Anyone who likes to take pictures knows what an ND filter is used for. Since my focus is landscape photography, I can't avoid working with such filters. I ordered this from K&F for my full frame camera.

I was just tired of always filling my backpack with ND filters of different strengths. The Nano-X Pro was just right for me. In order to use it on several lenses, I ordered it in the size 77 mm. I then work with step up rings so that I can also use them on smaller lenses.

To put it straight away: The visual quality and the quality of the images flashed me! The workmanship is excellent and very successful. The lens thread is cut very cleanly.
The filter is adjustable from ND 2 to ND 32. The larger steps (f-stops) are marked on the ring and are easy to read. It can also only be rotated in this range of 1-5. It doesn't go below or above. In this way, you always know from the attack what you have set.

The 77 mm. Ring weighs 93 grams on my kitchen scale. Everything is massive and feels really good. The setting works well with slight resistance. That's the way it should be.

The optical quality is absolutely flawless and the filter delivers great even in difficult lighting conditions. I wasn't able to detect chromatic aberration or color gradients into green, magenta or anywhere else even when pixel peeping. Even with leaves or fir trees in backlight and with reflections from dew, the quality of the filter is unsurpassed. Finally, an ND filter that does justice to my limited lenses and the full frame sensor. The frame thickness with thread is only 9 mm. 0.63 mm without thread. This means that the filter can also be used on wider angle lenses without edge shading.

Thanks to the two screwed brass handles and the ribbing of the ring, the filter can be adjusted very sensitively.

Conclusion: K&F Concept delivered a top filter
here. What is the use of putting thousands into lenses but then bad filters make work difficult or lead to bad results? A clear 5 stars+ from me. I hope this is useful for your purchase decision. The price is also put into perspective as you save at least 4 ND filters
Extremely good. Extremely good. Extremely good. Extremely good. Extremely good.

The “K&F Concept Nano-X ND Filter 77mm” comes in elegant packaging, which is easy to open and you can carefully remove the filter. The accompanying bag is neatly made, everything looks very elegant and at the price, you can probably expect that. The filter itself is of very high-quality workmanship and you can see all key figures directly. It also has two brass noses, which are easy to adjust. You always have a good feeling here and you're overturning (turning too fast) or too slowly, but you always have the right feeling when setting it up. The resistance here is simply fantastic. The image that you can conjure up from the filter is simply overwhelming and is worth the price. It makes no difference here whether you have the sun in the image or are completely dazzled, the filter delivers its power.
