I am a professional architecture and interior photographer and also do videography. Was looking for a tripod that is light yet stable and sturdy (since my equipment can be heavy i.e. tilt shift/telezoom lenses, and expensive). This K&F tripod ticked all the boxes and the price point is perfect.

This tripod has an excellent and smooth quick release system which is important for me especially when moving from location to location during the critical lighting window for outdoor shots.

The tripod's height is impressive and it can be extended with an option to attach additional weight at the centre of gravity point to make it even more secure.

The tripod's colour is vibrant and the finishing is smooth.

I personally prefer twist locks for the tripod legs, although this is definitely a matter of personal preference. The legs can also be extended outwards using the quick release clip to have an even lower height. This may be particularly helpful when trying to get a lower vantage point for artistic reasons, such as when focussing on the foreground.

Would definitely reccomend as a studio or outdoor tripod or even for events and travel! Carbon fiber tripods are ideal for travelling.

Probably among the very few, if not the only choice if you are looking for a tripod (your first, as in my case) in carbon and under €150. Overall, a good product if you are just starting out with photography (like me) and want to make an intelligent purchase and avoid skinny tripods that will force you to spend more money in the near future. When closed it is very compact and easy to transport given its zero weight , resistant and of good workmanship. I thought that the 162cm height of the tripod was too little. I'm 179cm tall and the fully extended tripod is definitely acceptable (if not perfect, given that we're talking about a compact, travel tripod!) for my height; by extending the central column and with the ball head mounted, it reaches me exactly between my chin and my mouth (therefore almost eye level with the camera mounted... I have a Canon M50 MII) thus preventing me from bending too much and causing any discomfort. Unique the thing is that the orange levers for orienting the legs seem a little fragile but nothing tragic, just pay attention. After all, for absolute quality you undoubtedly have to go up in price. I haven't tested it in the field yet but I don't expect any gross or unpleasant surprises.

This item exceeded my expectations. It is very well constructed with quality materials. The unit is lightweight and folds to a very small profile. Once unfolded it easily holds my sky binoculars or camera. These are held securely by the tripod. I recommend this if you are looking for a solid quality tripod

Lightweight... quite stiff and closes quickly. Just a little low

This is the best and great value tripod for outdoors! I've been finding the right one within 1kg that's foldable, can do panoramic view, has the right height and very convenient to carry around. MUST BUY for outdoor use.

So disclaimer, I just opened up the box and thought it came broken because the 360 degree rotating joint was loose, but all I had to do was turn it clockwise to tighten it. FYI if you think it's broken, it just was shipped loose! No need to return.

I was skeptical at first, but it is a solid piece. It is not as steady as my trusted Manfrotto, but it is 1/5 of the weight, so it is assumed not to be rock-steady. But for what it cost, it is an excellent tool, and I'm happy with it. I use it with My Canon 6D and various lenses, including long telefoto zooms (70-200). I carry it strapped to my backpack while hiking. There is absolutely no creep in the head, it is precise and has a good positive feeling when you lock it.

This is a very nice tripod for hikes. I use this one when I’m going outdoors and don’t want to bring something heavier. It isn’t too stable in the wind unfortunately, so my pictures don’t look as good on windy days, but otherwise I’ve liked it a lot

Lightweight and handy. Lightweight closing zips. We will see how long it lasts over time. Range capacity is also good for a SLR.

Overall I really liked the tripod. It is well made and easy to use. The size I ordered was too small for my height, so I had to test it with the legs fully extended. When I put my Sony 600mm lens on the tripod, the lowest parts of the thin carbon fiber legs warped outward slightly and there was an elasticity to the performance of the legs. Touching the camera caused several seconds of vibrations amplifying from the ends of the legs up to the camera.

This might not be a serious issue if I had ordered a long enough tripod that I would only occasionally fully extend the legs.

I am returning this tripod and purchasing a 79inch aluminum one instead. Hopefully that will not vibrate as much.
