i had trouble putting them on at first. dji goes kind of thin on instructions. if weather is fair i'll test them out but i can tell the ND8 has made a difference indoors, the 16 will be fantastic on a sunny colorado day. aas long as they don't pop out in flight i can't think of any cons. good price, too. cheers

This is an excellent ND filter set; they're great for smoothing out footage when filming in bright conditions, and don't add any noticeable colour cast to images. They're lightweight (of course - essential on a drone) and mount firmly without any sign they may come adrift at inopportune moments.

While the filtering is the same, for both, top and bottom camera, it is a very good filter that you can compensate with the aperture control once the proper filter is selected based on the conditions of the day.
The fit is excellent and appear to be part of original equipment of DJI.

Diving straight into the meat of things, the difference these filters make to aerial photography is notable. The colors in the footage now pop with a vibrancy that was missing before. With the polarizing filter, reflections on water bodies that used to obscure the view are now pleasing to the eye, allowing for crisper images from above. The ND filters are particularly handy for those bright days when you need just a bit more control over the exposure without having to compromise on the depth of field. On a partly cloudy day, the ND8 is my go-to, while the ND16 is perfect when the sun is in full force. These filters are good quality and they are easy to install onto the drone. They do not negatively impact the performance of the drone. They do improve the image quality.
