Just like prime lenses, ND filters work much in the same way. Generally you get better quality as opposed to a variable ND. This set gives you 3 ranges that are useful for shooting outdoors (3, 6 and 10). These filters will work great for both video and photo. They will help you with longer exposures (ie: waterfalls) as well as a shallower depth of field (ie: f2.8). Good set of filters.

This kit includes three separate filters, ND8, ND64, and ND1000, covering the most recommended ranges of 3, 6, and 10 stops of light reduction. These three are versatile for a wide range of scenarios. The description erroneously describes them as 3/4/10, but the product images state it correctly. The filters have easy to engage threads, they feel solid, and they come in a great carrying case to protect them when not in use or in a camera bag. In my testing, the images with them look great with minimal impact on sharpness and the light reduction is even. As with nearly all ND filters, color casts are there, but it's correctable if using manual white balance and auto white balance takes care of it in other cases.

I am happy with this set. I like how I can play with longer exposures in brighter conditions. I did not see any artifacts or distortions from the filters so they seem to be made well. They fit my lens well and the case is a nice touch, though bulky.

I'd heard of K&F concept before and first tried one of their circular polarizers. I went out and shot some sample photos with it to compare with my expensive filters, which I apparently cannot name, because my review of the C-PL in which I named them was rejected. Let me say here that the K&F C-PL impressed me. I thought the shots with my other polarizers that cost four and five times more than the K&F were the K&F shots, because they weren't as good. But I was wrong; the K&F shots were the best.

I didn't take these NDs out for comparison, but I did use them to shoot the recent annular eclipse. I got some great shots using the ten-stop filter. No glare, no flare. Since I was bracketing my exposures, and since I had plenty of time, I tried stacking two NDs, the 1000 with the 64, and got a fair amount of flare. I'm not surprised, and I don't hold it against the filters. I know better than to stack them and I'd never do that in any other situation.

With either the ND1000 or the ND64 mounted I had no flare. I bracketed exposure to get a decent foreground in some shots and a decent crescent sun on others to later combine in post processing. When I bumped up the exposure for the foreground, the sharpness and color were perfect -- you'd never know there was an ND filter in front of the lens. I expected there to be at least a slight color cast, but there was none. A cast wouldn't bother me, as I shoot RAW and process my own photos anyway, and this is exceedingly easy to correct. The cost of an ND, right? Nope. Not with these.

I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend these K&F ND filters. While I'm at it, I even more strongly recommend the K&F Nano-X series C-PL, a circular polarizer that outperforms my others that cost 4-5 times more.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. but K&F Concept is one of my favorite bargain photography brands. They make good quality things and don't charge an arm and a leg for them. I love photography, but I am not the type of person to pixel-peep and I don't need the absolute best image quality for paid photo shoots. I take pictures as a hobby and these filters are great for that. Are they as good as other more expensive brands? I have no idea, but I do know that for about $50 this is a great set of ND filters that will help you take better pictures in certain conditions. Research ND filter photography and then buy these if you have an interest in how they can help you.

These ND filters are well made and thread securely onto the lens. The set of three provides many options for creative photography. I did a quick trial run with a sunset and turning a rough sea into a smooth one.

They come in a very convenient carry case to keep them safe when not in use.

If you haven't used ND filters, just google for ideas, and be very specific about which size you buy to fit your lens. If you have used ND filters before, then you'll be happy with this set.

I can't wait to put these to use in various ways.

I recently "moved into" a new camera system, and the largest filters I had, 77mm, don't work in many of the lenses, which use 82mm. So, I'm having to re-filter for these new lenses. My work with this camera is mainly landscape, and along with a good polarizer, ND filters are where I tend to go.

I wrote an earlier review, comparing these to some top-line filters I have (but in smaller sizes)—but that review was rejected, and the only reason I can think is that I mentioned specific brands—so I won't try that again. Basically, from my tests, which only looked at how even the light transmission was and how neutral the longer exposures looked by eye, these K&F Concept filters are as good as you could ask for.

Looking at multi-coatings and reflections, the exterior of these filters was on par, if not better, than the high priced filters. That said, the rear (interior) surface on the more expensive filters was much less reflective (than even the fronts were!) whereas on the K&F filters the front and backs are about the same, in terms of lessening of reflections.

The filters come in a very nice case. I'd be happier with it if it was maybe a bit less padded—my bags always seem crammed. For me, the main difference between these and the top line filters are the rings. All three rings threaded on smoothly. No complaints. But if you're used to the way that nicely machined brass rings screw on, you'll know what I mean. I'm quite happy with these.

These are good quality but are fairly light duty in construction (rings). I like that the are kept together in a soft folio. These will work great alone, stacked with each other, or as a base for a variable ND to help avoid the dreaded "X" on the far end of those filters. Good all around set to have.

This is a set of three ND filters. They are basically sunglasses for your camera. They allow you to take pictures of bright light, or to allow you to take long exposure photographs in daylight so you can get those silky waterfall pics. Mine were 58mm. I used the ND1000 for the recent solar eclipse. I had to use it with my camera's built in live ND16 filter to get some of the photos. I had no problems with the fit or the clarity. They come packaged in a very nice folder and they are all in individually sealed bags. It also comes with three microfiber cleaning cloths. I haven't used the other filters yet so I don't know how well they capture color, but my first impressions are that they would be good for a beginner photographer.

When you first open the box, you automatically feel good about your purchase. Instead of just being thrown loosely in a box, this set comes in a stylish protective folding sleeve with pockets for each filter. This makes them easy to transport and keep safe in between uses. In the sleeves they are individually wrapped for quality assurance. It also comes with three microfiber cleaning cloths.
The filters are very lightweight. They have pronounced ridges on parts of the ring so you can easily install and remove the filter without your grip slipping. And they are thinner than traditional filters due to their nano coating.
After installing and testing them, I saw no vignetting or loss in sharpness, and no or extremely minimal color shifting (only in the ND1000.) The threading is machined well to where adding them to my lens was a breeze. I also successfully stacked the ND8 and 64 without issue. K & F Concept is making a name for itself in the camera world with filters like these.
