I ordered this MCUV lens filter from K&F for my Nikkor 50mm lens. Like other K&F lens filters I own, this one is very good quality. This product has clarity of the glass, exceptional machining of the frame, and even thoughtful packaging. The one issue I have with it is that the filter is so thin that my lens cap will not stay on it. I don't yet have any magnetic filters to use with it and I hadn't read closely enough to know that this is magnetic. Still, I planned to use this anyway. Unfortunately I can't because of the lens cap problem. If you choose to purchase this, it's best if you have a magnetic lens cap for it.
High quality lens but too thin for lens caps

The K&F Concept 62mm Magnetic MCUV Lens Protection Filter is well made and works wonderfully. It’s easy to use and I love the way it looks and protects my lens. It’s a great product for the money.

Purchase this filter to protect my 70-200 2.8 lens. In the past I've tried other companies and while I was happy with theirs, I wanted to tryout the magnetic filters. So far I'm quite happy with it's performance. The filter was very easy to install and light transmission is very good. It'll definitely allow you to save time when adding on another filter to your lens. The price is not bad and the built quality seems quite solid. Will

Despite this filter’s very low price, I can’t see a difference in the image quality at all. I actually took two test photos and now I can’t tell them apart. (I’m using a 32.5 MP Canon R7 with the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8) This lens filter is very thin and also has filter threads on the front, so that you can still use the normal lens cap. I believe the filter is multi-coated, as when tilted into the light, you can see a green or magenta color. Unfortunately, I don’t have any of K&F Concept’s Magnetic filters, so I don’t know how well that feature works. I only have two complaints: (1) the filter was packaged OK, but there was some wiggle room in the plastic case it came in. (2) The Sigma lens cap doesn’t set fully down on top of the filter, so the lens cap falls off easier. Overall, this is an AMAZING deal for a filter. Again, I see absolutely no reduction in image quality. It is very likely that I will get another of these in the future.

I always use a uv filter over my lens when I’m outside, more for protection than anything. This filter fits well and the magnetic attachment is convenient when I want to remove it quick for a shot and replace it. Seems well made and no real negative effects on photos.

These need to be screwed on to the lens, and any additional filters that are magnetic would work with this filter. The UV is clear and does not add any tint/distortions/vignette to the pictures. Overall good UV filter but needs clarification on the magnetic part.

Fumbling around with filters is my least favorite thing to do especially when a high paying client is waiting. Fortunately these filters can make lens change overs a snap. They stay secure enough for field use but are easy to exchange. The only problem is that I need to change over my old filters. If you are just starting out, I recommend this tech but for me, I will only invest in the essential ones and keep my old screw type for the less used variety. Recommended.

This product was sent to me for review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.

It comes well-presented in the sturdy plastic box, which is ideal for storing the filter when not in use. It's also compact enough that it would fit well inside a camera bag.

The filter itself is of good quality - it has a robust construction with a sleek finish, and a properly machined screw thread, whilst the glass is clean and clear.

I was actually hoping to use it with a K&F kit I have recently acquired for my iPhone - this also has a 67mm magnetic adapter, however, the two components don't really work well together. For some reason, the magnet on the adapter won't attach properly to the filter, so, the filter would fall off easily. As the product listing does not outline whether the two are actually compatible, I am left feeling unsure whether this is a fault, or by design.

Regardless, it is a solid filter for a camera lens - it's just a shame I can't use it in the way I had intended.
