I am loving this variable filter. They are like “sunglasses” for your camera so that the shots are not overblown on a bright day. This is for my first mirrorless camera, an a6700 which was pricey for me, so I appreciate not having to invest too much on different filter types and just have the one which I can change to suit my needs. Since I am an amateur, I can’t really provide a ton of insight as I am still learning, but the K&F brand is high quality and its reputation is well earned.

The K&F Concept Black Diffusion Mist 1/4 & Variable ND2-32 is game-changer for my video/photo projects. The diffusion mist gives my footage a soft, cinematic glow without losing too much sharpness, which is perfect for capturing moody vibes. Before this filter I was using a K&F black mist filter 1/4 stacked on top of an ND filter, which gave similar result. Doing this was a pain because sometimes the filters would get stuck and it takes a challenge to take off. So having both in one is a triple plus for me and my work.

One of the best things about this filter is that it has hard stops. My other K&F filter at some point you would get a X across your screen. I don’t notice any vignetting either even though I’m a big fan of it. Check out the two photos I took see a comparison of how the pro mist benefits and the ND adds that cinematic touch for low aperture shooting bright scenes.

Overall, this filter feels solid, works seamlessly, and delivers a pro-level aesthetic. If you’re into filmmaking or just want to elevate your photos/videos, this is worth it. Highly recommend!

This camera filter is filled with some pretty neat technology. It acts almost like an f-stop in that you can dial it to allow more or less light through it. It gives you photos a cool effect and is pretty impressive. It takes a bit to learn how to use it but it really gives a new dimension to photography. It screws right into the lens filter screw on your canon lens and is really easy to install. You can then put your lens cap on the end of the filter and it still is protected. The kit comes with lens wipes and all you need to get the filter installed. This is a pretty impressive product and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new with their photography and branch out with some new filters.
Impressive filter! Impressive filter! Impressive filter!

I have other photography products from K&F and they are always been of great value. This 49mm filter is no exception. I am very much a hobbyist photographer, but I am confident that this filter would suit semi-professionals, or quite possibly those who make a full-time living from photography.

The K&F Concept 49mm Black Diffusion 1/4 & ND2-32 Variable ND Filter (Nano-K Series) is a fantastic tool for both amateur and professional photographers and videographers seeking to elevate their creative work. This 2-in-1 filter combines a Black Diffusion 1/4 mist effect with a variable ND filter (ND2-32), allowing you to achieve a dreamy, cinematic look with soft glow diffusion while controlling exposure levels seamlessly.

The Black Diffusion 1/4 provides a subtle, atmospheric softening effect that adds a pleasant glow to highlights, helping to smooth out skin tones and reduce harsh contrast. It’s perfect for portraiture or any situation where you want to achieve a more ethereal, cinematic feel. The variable ND filter, on the other hand, is highly versatile, offering a broad range of 2 to 32 stops, making it ideal for both bright outdoor conditions and more controlled studio environments.

The build quality is solid, and the Nano-K coating minimizes reflections, water, and fingerprints, ensuring that the image quality remains sharp and clear. The filter is easy to adjust, and its compact design makes it a great addition to any photographer's or filmmaker's kit.

Overall, the K&F Concept 49mm Black Diffusion & ND Filter is a versatile and well-built filter that enhances creativity while maintaining high-quality results. Highly recommended for anyone looking to take their shots to the next level!

This 67mm Black Diffusion Mist 1/8 & Variable ND2-32 in-1 Filter by K&F Concept does exactly what it should while protecting my lens in the case of impact. It seems to be well made. I've purchased filters that have had sharp threads but this is not the case here. It has a substantial profile to it; the construction is solid. I'm very pleased with this filter and find it to be of excellent value.

Oh yeah the microfiber cleaning clothes are seriously the best I’ve ever received as a “bonus” and I’ve purchased countless lens filters in the past 20+ years. I highly recommend K&F Concept products
Exactly as described and VERY well made!

K&F’s combination of a black mist and variable ND filter is innovative. I have only tested this filter on one lens—an FE 70-200 f/4 ii. Rolling through variations of the same shot, I saw gradual change; the reduction in glare, noticeable. I have four lenses with 72mm threads, and this filter will get plenty of use. I am very pleased to own it.

I have purchased a number of K&F filters previously, and other K&F products. I have found that its products are of excellent value and quality. I sometimes wonder whether the purported quality of higher priced filters is marketing-driven; whether it’s more about reinforcing our perceptions about the relationship between price and quality, rather than real-world performance improvements.

There are likely superior filters - filters with glass reclaimed from ancient Greek vases. However, this combination filter will serve me swimmingly. I mightn’t even be able to tell the difference.

You’re getting a lot of performance from this filter at a very reasonable price. It’s a precision-built filter with flawless engineering. All K&F filters come with a sturdy, light case, and three cleaning clothes.

In the past, I often found myself spending hundreds of dollars on high-end German camera lens filters, believing that their premium quality was essential for my photography. I always assumed that opting for cheaper filters would result in a noticeable degradation of picture quality, and while this notion still holds some truth, my perspective has shifted recently. I've discovered that K&F filters offers a range of affordable lens filters that do not compromise on quality. As long as you select their models featuring multi-layer nano coatings, you can expect satisfactory performance without breaking the bank.

I conducted a comparison of photos taken both with and without this filter, and I found that the sharpness remained largely consistent. The primary difference was the introduction of an extra layer of whimsical softness due to the characteristics of the Mist filter, which can be quite appealing for portrait photography. This additional softness adds an artistic touch to the images, making them feel more vibrant and dreamlike, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Moreover, the variable ND function on this filter has a well-designed hard stop at both ends, effectively preventing any unwanted "X" effect that can ruin a shot. The ND32 setting is particularly useful for street photography; it allows me to creatively capture movement and motion within my images while also reducing harsh light that can be a challenge in bright conditions. This feature enhances my ability to portray a dynamic atmosphere in my photographs, providing me with flexibility and control.

In summary, K&F continues to impress with their outstanding value filters that combine affordability with quality craftsmanship. I find that I no longer need to spend a small fortune on brand-name filters, as the differences in performance are minimal at best. I highly recommend these filters to anyone looking to achieve exceptional results without overspending!

This 82mm filter is basically your camera lens’s cheat code. It's a 2-in-1 combo—variable ND and black diffusion mist; which means you get that moody, cinematic softness and control over your exposure in bright light, all without swapping gear mid-shoot. Perfect for indie filmmakers or anyone trying to get dreamy skin tones and motion blur in daylight.

Pros:
Built-in ND2–32 (1–5 stops) = great for daylight shoots, smooth shutter control
Subtle 1/8 diffusion gives skin a soft glow without losing detail = pro look
No dreaded "X" pattern thanks to smart frame-lock tech (huge win)
Optical glass + 18-layer coatings = clean image, minimal reflections, easy to clean
82mm size is big, great for wide lenses, but double-check your thread size. Just get this one and buy step up rings for all your lenses

Cons:
ND range stops at 5 = not quite dark enough for super long exposures or harsh midday sun
