Fuji X100 Lens Black Mist 1/4 Filter, Multi Coated HD Optical Glass Scratch-resistant Compatible with Fuji X100, X100F, X100S, X100T, X100V, X100VI Nano-Xcel Series (Black)
SKU: KF01.2883
The silver on the outer ring isn't exactly the same color, but it's hard to notice from afar. Other than that it's a really solid filter for the X100VI and really adds to the aesthetics. I like how it still fits the lens cover.

As a street photographer I love to shoot film, but it's a costly endeavor and my vintage cameras are not weather sealed, so I shoot mostly digital with either an in-camera film simulation or a film-like preset applied in post.
One of the film qualities that is difficult to emulate with a digital camera is exposure latitude in the highlights; digital easily clips in the highlights, but even when protecting the highlights they look somewhat harsh. Also, digital images in general are sharper than analog, and a black mist diffusion filter is one way to soften both the overall image and even out the highlights so it feels more like film.
This diffusion filter does an admirable job of creating just such an effect, without being overbearing. When shooting normal subjects in daylight it is almost unnoticeable, providing a very sutble softening effect. And as the sample photos show, when shooting into the sky, highlights and even flares tend to spread out and lighten the affected portion of the image, just like they do on film. Of course it's not exact same effect as analog, but it does add to the overall mood.
One thing I did not test this filter on was night-time light sources. Once I get around to that I will update this review, but I generally prefer less powerful diffusion for that use case.
For the price, I think this K&F filter is an excellent deal. K&F image quality is always quite good, and I was not able to detect any anomalies even at high magnification. One thing to keep in mind is that it does not have a front thread to take additional filters; however it does accept K&F brand magnetic filters, which is actually pretty cool.

This is a good all-in-one filter.
The good: The #1 item, this would weather seal the camera. The housing is built well, matches the aesthetic of the X100. The 1/4 Black diffusion creates nice halation around light sources. I have a stand alone 1/4 Black diffusion from K&F, but it seems a lot stronger than this one. This one be a good filter to leave on. The OE lens cap fits a bit snug, but it fits. And the optional square hood from K&F fits.
The bad: The silver finish is a bit brighter, shinier than the Fujifilm finish. If you like to change filters, you are better off buying an adapter ring. You cannot filter stack, it would be nice to have threads for other filters. This was the same problem with the K&F UV filter adapter.
Otherwise, it is good product for the price and is fit for everyday use.

Great inexpensive diffusion filter for Fuji cameras, but also will work on any lens with 55mm diameter. On Fuji it will sit naturally and you can screw in 52mm filters on top or drop in magnet filters from K&F. The pictures and the diffusion effect is great. I didn't notice any color cast or flare or other artefacts. The filter does what it's designed to be. It creates glowing effect around the light source and also the softens the areas were the light is. It's great for portrait works where you want to have that cinematic look, also for street photography especially in night. Great quality product from K&F and cost effective compering to other brends.

This is a diffusion filter that adds just a subtle amount of haze to you're shots. It also exhibits a slight grey tint. I would approximate 5%. This product is compatible with the following cameras Fujifilm X100/X100F/X100S/X100T/X100V/X100VI (Nano-X Series).
The whole premise of this filter is to add subtle haze and bloom to film and video. This helps to soften light and overall skin. This helps in reducing wrinkles fine lines and pores. Adding a somewhat dream like effect. There are many grades ( percentage ) of haze you can add with various other filters in this lineup. From subtle such as this one to vary bloomed and hazy.
I have had the pleasure of reviewing K&H products in the past and they've always shown great attention to detail and superb craftsmanship. Their lens glass has always been superb with edge to edge sharpness and good optic properties.
Things to consider:
As you can see adding additional glass may result in reflections and extra light flares. This is common and is part of the trade off when using certain types of lens add-ons.
Final thoughts:
This is a good tool to have in you're kit. On those special occasions where you need extra mood. Perfect for weddings, child photography, dream sequences in film and many more concepts. With great build quality and a well designed carrying case. This product might be what you've been looking for.

Works perfectly without being too over powerful. Love the look that this filter creates.

Love these type of filters as they don’t need an additional adapter run in order to fit your filters. Also makes the camera slightly smaller compared to when you used an adapter ring with filter on it and therefore fits better in bags or cases. In regards to the filter quality itself , it does what it says. Can’t complain.

I am running this on my X100VI and really like it over other filter solutions because it -almost- appears like you have nothing extra on the lens. This also means minimum added length! The knurling of the filter matches well with the factory knurling of the lens, but the the silver finish is NOT an exact match for either the VI or the S that I own. I doubt most people would care or notice, but ye warned! Would be a perfect 5 stars if the finish matched.
Other things to be aware of:
1. K&F MRC Black Diffusion filters (such as this one) are NOT the same strength as Tiffen equivalents. I compared this to Tiffen 1/4 I own and found that the Tiffen has noticeably more halation. I think this is closer to a 1/8 Tiffen Black Promist. I consider this a good thing, because Tiffen 1/4th is too much. I said it! Fite me! :)
2. Weathersealing (specifically water resistance) provided by this and other adapters that do NOT have a gasket at the threads is questionable. Even light rain can and will easily seep through the threads and potentially into the gap where the lens moves in/out during focusing. You can fix this by adding your own o-ring; these are also available on Amazon. Search "50mm OD 48mm ID" to find something appropriately sized.
3. Another reviewer mentioned that the felt of the lens cap will "shed" because of the knurling on this filter. This is true but stops happening if you carefully twist the cap around the knurling a bit. This will pull off all the loose felt at once. I have not noticed any additional "shedding" after doing this myself. I also think this is a feature rather than a bug as it keeps the factory lens cap held in place quite securely.

This has pretty much lived on my silver X100VI since I received it. Among the positives is that it provides weather sealing for the camera, the color is a close enough match to the silver trim of my X, and I don't see any sketchy vignetting in the corners. Another product you can trust from KF Concept. Recommended
