Great product for price, setup is easy. Can deflect a bit if not setup properly. Works well, reflector is great, stable stand as well

As a photographer, I’ve been needing a curved U-shaped reflector for better headshots—and this one gets the job done. I’m building out a small studio space at home, and this reflector is now a central part of my setup.
K&F Concept makes solid gear, and this reflector is no exception. Setup is tricky though, and once it’s assembled, you likely won’t want to take it apart again. It does come with a nice storage bag, but realistically, this is best left set up.
Functionally, it’s a huge step up from the circular reflectors I used to use (which required a second person to hold). Now I can position this in front of the model and let my lighting do the rest. For under $80, it’s a fantastic value—just know going in that it’s more of a “set it and forget it” studio piece.

This reflector set is exactly what I needed for portrait work in my home studio. The U-shape is great because it helps bounce light from underneath, especially when I’m shooting close-ups or headshots. It includes four different reflectors—white, black, silver, and gold—so you can really shape the light to your needs. The silver and gold ones add great contrast or warmth depending on the situation. This reflector is a versatile addition to any photography setup. An absolute demon to put together on one's own. You need to be careful with angling the reflector especially if you are using the telescopic element of the stand - the reflector is enormous and fairly heavy so without a counter-balance if you've positioned it wrong the poor thing will topple. However I do think it is pretty sturdy. I'm hesistant to take it apart again due to how overwhelming getting it put together was. For the "short" end bars, I wish it had a small threaded nut or something to to secure the bar once you've gotten it through to the other side of the bar - it would make putting this thing together so much less difficult. It comes with a lovely bag to store it all in, zippered with a good carry. Like a mini-duffle. The gold sheet adheres to the silver/black sheet with velcro which is handy. Very good range of functionality and works really well. Really high quality over all. Great value although I'd recommend a counter-weight depending on the scenario it sees use it. Bloody fantastic.

I'm really looking forward to using using this reflector kit outdoors to photograph flowers and butterflies as soon as it warms up a bit. I expect the reflectors will help me extend the day and give me access to spots where harsh shadows might otherwise ruin a shot.

Because it's not the lightest in the world, I will set it up where I know my prospects for some great photos are good, and spend some time there. That way the weight will contribute to the setup's stability and be a net positive. A lot of portable photog stuff is super light, but that's not necessarily what I want in a lighting, reflectors included, kit.
