Having that extra bit of power when out filming is a game changer. It also can charge up other items. I love the visual display as that comes in handy. It has multiple interfaces with a wide range of connectivity. It is solid in construction and very high quality.

I shoot video mainly with my phone for interviews, but I also have a Blackmagic Cinema 4K and a Sony a7 iii that I use for video. I got tired of small batteries, and decided to look for a single larger battery I could mount to my tripod and run a cord for D-Tap to the camera.
This K&F Concept 99Wh Battery is a great find!
It uses a mini V-Mount plate on the back so I can clip it to a pipe/tripod leg mount securely and quickly. I have access to a D-Tap plug as well as USB-A and USB-C, and a DC out connector. Running a line up to my camera is simple and safe.
This supplies 99WH, which means you can take it on airlines in your carry-on bag. I made a copy of the instructions to bring with me just in case TSA wants to double-check the power rating.
I really like the clean display. I can check overall power percentage, and also get a breakdown of current draw across the DC and USB plugs if I have my phone or mics charging on the battery.
This has lasted me about 6 hrs, running my Sony and a light kit; I haven't shot as much as I had planned this past month, but I'm really liking this so far.
This K&F Battery is a great size. This is so designed for a travel bag there is no excuse not to take it with you!

This K&F Concept mini V-Mount battery has a capacity of 99Wh, making it airline-friendly. At 78mm wide by 109mm tall by57mm deep and weighing 643 grammes, it is pretty much the same as just about any 99Wh V-Mount block although this one has a metal sleeve around the front three quarters of the body in order to protect it from knocks. On the back, there is: the V-Mount itself - this one is plastic so I don't know how hard-wearing it will be; the BP connector block at the bottom; and, in the middle a light to see with, which is unusual although, potentially very useful in poorly lit situations.
On the front is a graphical display showing you the level of charge and when it is under load, it also lets you know the voltage and level of power going into any if the regulated sockets - that is to say that when using a direct connection such as the D-Tap, this does not show.
On the left hand side there is a push switch and with a short press, you see the display on the front but with a long press, you turn on the LED at the back - another long press turning it off. On the right hand side, covered with a water resistant flexible plastic cover, is the D-Tap connector which, on the review copy, was slightly misaligned at an angle, making it quite difficult to get the plug in there when compared to other blocks that I have, even though once it was in, it worked all right, supplying the the continuous 65 watts that I was drawing from it for a photographic light as you can see in the photograph.
On the top, again covered by a flexible plastic cover, is the main connection interface. In it are: a 12V DC connector (5.5x2.5mm); two USB C connectors - one labelled USB-C1 and the other labelled USB C2; and, a USB A socket. Of the two USB C sockets, the V-Mount blocks only seems to charge through USB C1.
Whilst the display shows you the voltage and the wattage for any active, regulated connection, unlike other V-Mount batteries, it does not give you an estimate of the amount of time left for the battery to run down. Also, although this in no way impacts on the performance of the battery, this is the slowest colour display I have ever seen, taking almost two seconds to replenish.
On the whole, this is a capable battery with plenty of connectivity and as all V-Mount batteries, it is very useful, whether you are running small studio lights from it, a camera rig or using it to charge your phone. The only thing it has against it is the poorly implemented D-Tap socket on it.
A very capable battery with wide connectivity, let down only by a poorly aligned D-Tap connector. A very capable battery with wide connectivity, let down only by a poorly aligned D-Tap connector. I didn't expect much from this battery, but it proved to be more useful than I initially assumed.

I'm able to power various devices using this battery with no problem, it's quite powerful.

Something I really liked seeing on this battery is the emergency light on the back of the battery. It's turned on by holding down the power off/on button, and it provides a small light output which could save the day in an emergency scenario when no other lights are available.

Something I didn't like were the rubber flaps that cover the charging ports. I found it quite tough to get them out.

With that said, this is my favorite battery so far, and I really recommend it.

I bought this after seeing a friend have something similar - they had the popular Smallrig version, but I like the colour of this one (honestly, if something comes in funky colours, I'll buy it - whether I need it or not!)
I used this the other day filming 4k video on a Sony FX30 for a solid 4hrs and it only went down by 20%, so it's worth it's weight in gold for long days of filming!
It clicks nicely into a v-mount system, and has a perfect amount of sockets for my setup.
It'd be nice to have 2 d-tap plugs, but it's not something I currently need.

This will be my sixth VMount battery. They are fantastic for professional video ventures, and also double up as huge power banks - which I often use them for during long photography shoots like festivals.

This VMount battery offers two USB-C ports, standard USB, 12V, and DTap along with the requisite BP port.

The USB-C output is 100W PD and this is picked up by my Galaxy S22 Ultra, which granted can't take the full 100WPD but does initiate fast charging. It's also 100W PD in, so you can charge this in about two hours. This is fantastic as some of my other batteries need to be plugged in to charge overnight.

Battery capacity and output status is shown on a bright TFT screen to the front of the battery.

With this being a 99Wh battery you can take this on a plane with you in your carry on luggage. I have flown with three drones, 21 drone batteries and a portable charger and know this to be 100% accurate. There can be limits on how many batteries you can take, but the max limit for carry-on batteries is 99Wh.

All of my other VMount batteries are standard grey and black boxes so it's nice to see the K&F orange has been included with this design. A bit of flair to what's usually a boring box.

What I do like:
The display. I was surprised to see that this charger has really become my go to for testing electronic devices. Yes, due to the heavy duty nature of it, it does get used for charging devices all over our home. But what I like about it is the display that will tell you what's happening with the charge that most devices simply don't address. This has become incredibly handy for testing. For example, my daughters tablet just stopped charging one day. I tried numerous dongles and cables and nothing. Thanks to this I was able to plug it in and see what was going on. Similar situation with a set of earbuds that I have.
Charges pretty much anything and will charge a lot before needing to be recharged itself. I think the advertised recharge time is also pretty correct. I would put it at about approximately 2-3 hours.
Build quality, seriously feels like a brick.

What I dont like:
My complaints are really a bit minor but one couldve been an issue. As this was nearing a recharge I figured Id plug it in and get it filled up. Sadly, I lost the manual and instead looked at the product page. Which shows C1 as being the in/out. This is incorrect. C2 is the in/out. C1 is for charging only. I had this plugged into an outlet for 30+ minutes and noticed that the battery level was going down... I switched ports and the display screen changed to a charging screen and off it went. I guess I was charging my house for a bit??? My other complaint again has to do with the product images which shows the port cover as being something that flips up. It does not. The charge cover is a rubber cap that doesnt attach to the device unless you're not using it. Its either on, or its off.

True high power battery capacity, I managed to use it when I am away from my studio to extend the power for my timelapse video camera, the PD port is powerful enough to charge/keeping my laptop running with out the mains. I have not tested out the V mount as my lights are permanently wired to the mains socket already.

The display is sharp and clear to read in total darkness, I love the 12V out function. It can be used for a lot of other application (auto accessories)

V mount batteries are some of my favorite batteries to use when i build out a camera rig. This battery is more versatile than all my other v mount batteries because it has a 100w PD usb-c port. This allows me to use this battery with some of my lighting equipment that requires up to 100w input.

The battery life is perfect for any of my builds as i have never fully exhausted a charged 99wh v mount battery in one sitting. It has 2 usb-c ports with high wattage support. USB-C1 supports the 100w PD and USB-C2 supports 65w, giving me more flexibility in my setups. It also has a D-tap port and a 12v port.

This is an amazing battery that takes V-mount to the next level for me.
