It's solid, a tad heavy even.Snaps onto camera snugly and attaches lens securely, seems just about perfect (MD-FX).Being a "dumb" adapter (no electronics) that's all I could ask for.

This adapter isn't expensive, just under eleven pounds at time of purchase, and whilst pitched at the lower end of the price scale for these adapters, I was surprised at the build quality and finish. I have a large range of legacy glass from my film shooting days from the likes of Leica, Zeiss, Voigtlander, Olympus, Minolta, Fuji, Tamron, Praktica, and several Russian lenses and I have been using a range of inexpensive adapters to use these lenses on my Sony A7 and Nex cameras where I found the results were variable, mainly due to lens misalignment. These cheap adapters are clearly not precision units, and this shows.Having recently acquired a Fuji X Pro-1 I wondered how some of the above glass would work via adapters and having come across this range I ordered two, one for Olympus and the other for Minolta. As I said earlier the build and attention to finish is exceptional for the price, but more importantly, the adapter allows proper lens alignment allowing for even sharpness across the frame. The adapter fits the Fuji mount securely and precisely with no play and the same can be said for the Minolta mount: the lens fits securely without being held too loosely or tightly. All in all, well worth seeking out if you have a Fuji X-mount camera.

Fantastic quality and price, no need to pay over the odds for Fuji or similar. I get stunning results using my 30 year old minolta rokkor lenses on this.thanks

Superb value for money. This adapter is very well built and both Minolta and Fuji mounts fit perfectly. Of course, everything is manual, but that's not a big problem as the Focus Peaking feature allows accurate focus. The camera must be set to shoot without lens and you are good to go. Also, there is no EXIF information for lens settings - again no big deal.I can now use my Minolta MD 50mm f1.7 from 1982 on my Fuji X-E1 from 2014 and get results that are truly excellent, all for a total outlay of 11 quid - Enough said.

Does the job perfectly. I have used it with a Minolta MD 50mm.If I was to point out a gripe, it's that the adaptor allows the lens to focus slightly beyond infinity, so care should be taken when focusing to infinity. The images I've produced are beautiful and it's great to be able to use old film lenses again.
