77mm Kaleidoscope Triangular Prism Filter Optical Glass Special Effect Camera Lens Filter Nano-Basic Series

One of the things I love about photography is that there is always something new to learn (and new gadgets to acquire for those of us with Gear Acquisition Syndrome). I've had good luck with K&F filters in the past so I decided to try this prism filter out. It works exactly as designed and produces multiple overlapping images which you can rotate by turning the filter around. It was kind of fun to play with for a short time, but honestly I'm having a hard time figuring out where I would use this in a real world scenario. At least I have this filter ready to go now if I come up with something.

K&F has always been a solid and reliable brand in my experience, and this filter just reinforces that. The build quality is top-notch — the K9 optical glass delivers amazing clarity, and the aluminum frame feels durable yet lightweight. The creative prism effect is really fun to play with, especially with the 360-degree rotation feature. It adds a unique touch to portraits and city shots without needing any post-editing tricks. I also appreciated the thoughtful vacuum cleaning cloth — it actually works well and keeps the glass spotless. If you're looking to experiment with your photography, this is a very cool tool to add to your kit!

I'm happy with this lens filter for the right purpose, with the right equipment. For me, it's not going to be likely to yield good results with wide-angle lenses. It starts to look good closer to 85 mm, so I'll probably not put it on my 35 mm lens again, or try holding it in front of my phone camera.
So if you have it on the right lens, it gives you a fun tri-part split of part of the image. Yay!
Since the case isn't labeled, I've found it convenient to put part of the box info in the case, so you can read it from the outside. That makes picking out the filter you want much easier.
Anyway, you don't have to take my word for any of this. See my sample pics!

K&F filters are top notch and my go to when looking at filter options. This prism effect filter is an excuse to just go out and take some pictures for fun, I would anticipate you could even use it for some creative effects with your videos. I paired this with my Viltrox 75mm 1.2 APSC lens and you can see some of the samples images I took. K&F quality at a reasonable price which is of high value considering the enjoyment you can experience with a unique filter such as this.

It's a really fun tool for getting creative with photography. The functionality of being able to rotate the prism to change the effect is excellent, giving you a lot of control over how many subjects appear and where the foreground blur lands. It's surprisingly easy to use; you just screw it onto your lens and start experimenting. This filter makes it genuinely fun to play around with new visual effects and adds a unique touch to your photos without needing a lot of post-processing. Color accuracy remains pretty good through the prism, which is a big plus. Considering the unique effects it produces, it feels like good value for money, especially if you're looking to expand your creative toolkit. The size is manageable, fitting well on my lens without being too cumbersome.

This lens filter came very well packaged and attaches to a 77mm lens with very smooth operation. Very high quality feel. I see no color change using the filter, it is clear. Comes with a case which is more protective than most lens filter cases. Different focal lengths produce different results. The filter can be rotated to change positions of the images, but make sure you rotate in the direction of tightening the filter or it may come off unexpectedly.

When I ordered this I wasn't sure how useful it would be but I wanted to try it out. I found that the images you can create with this lens have an interesting look that was more usable than I was expecting for product shots, especially food. The kaleidoscope effect is strong but isn't as blurry or distorted as I assumed it would be. Having a main subject flanked with ghostly duplicates can create an interesting framing around the subject. The filter itself is one of the most extreme designs I've ever used. You will definitely want to keep this in the case and I will likely be keeping it in the box as well. The amount of glass is crazy but the light transmission is still excellent and the image is sharp in the focused, non blurred part of the frame. I'm interested to see if I will be able to incorporate this into video projects but for right now I'm having fun with photo projects using this filter.

In my excitement took internal photos of the ceiling light, uplighters, table lamps.
This prism filter gives stunning results, even sat in your living room, using evening lamps.
